This is like the very rare times where FNF music gets good but without ever getting bad

this idea came to me out of nowhere and i wanted to do something with it. heavy inspiration from undertale yellow as most of the motifs are taken from floweys themes in there

WONDERFUL IDEA (Flowey BIG SHOT)

Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

Frisk takes Toriel's role. They used to be one of the new rulers of the underground, inspiring change and the hope that humans and monsters could co-exist peacefully. That all shattered on one fateful day, when they were reminded of their past actions. They were violent and uncaring, once, but they fixed it! It was fine now! Right? 

Except... one person they killed- well, he sure wasn't brought back, so their stats remained stuck at LV 2, despite them reloading. And so, after an unfortunate experiment, which caused all of the guilt to suddenly flood back, they ran. They ran as far as they could, until they reached the Ruins, and finally collapsed. Asgore found them, and took them in, for he knew that look in their eyes all too well. 

They still tried to be the inspiring angel, of course, to the monsters in the Community Gardens. Be as kind and polite as possible. They tried their hardest to forget about what had happened, what they'd done. But the memories come back up soon enough. And Frisk cannot accept it. They need someone- anyone- else to blame, because the mere idea that they're not this perfect person they said they were- it haunts them. 

And, well, they find someone else to blame, that's for sure. But they won't fight Chara, of course not! That's not who they are. They can simply... help Chara as well, cure them from the infection that plagues them both. 

They can help you. They can fix it! They can save us all.

===== NOTES =====
Rather than fighting just one of the Woshuas, all three of them have banded together to put a stop to your disgusting practices. Through the use of water and bubble magic, they create a magic barrier that's surprisingly pretty strong for how bubbles would normally work. (That said, they also have fire magic that doesn't burn you, so maybe reinforced bubbles can be real too.)

This bubble gets reinforced as much as the Woshuas can allow for, but at times will prioritize doing extra damage when you're running low on HP to try and take you out.

Regardless of who you focus your attacks on, Chara will always be the one to take any hits, making a conscious effort to prioritize Sans' life over their own. As they slowly feel their body lose the energy to go on, they give Sans some kind of signal, and they give him their SOUL, which he absorbs, allowing them to take on a much stronger form: KARMIC SANS.

There's still some specifics that would need to be worked out eventually, but I felt the concept was too cool to pass up.

Megalo Strike Back is used as a phase 2 theme both because of the old-school community's insistence on it being Chara's theme (thanks, Dreemurr Reborn) as well as the simple fact that MSB is practically MEANT to be a sequel to Megalovania.

Hey, I'm AshVA! (dis: ashtheva) Here is my AU.

Quantum Leap is an original Undertale AU that takes place in an altered timeline where certain events of Undertale that don't happen, end up happening. Frisk enjoyed spending time with their friends so much, that they abused their power to reset in order to relive the pacifist route. However, on the final reset, the FUN value went over 100, which caused the entire game to break and reboot. After this, a lot of things have changed. Frisk falls into the Underground later than expected, Asriel doesn't die, but Chara still does. Both Asgore and Toriel still rule, but Asgore is incredibly sick, so Toriel rules, Papyrus makes it into the guard and helps people throughout Snowdin Town, and much more!
