I know a song like this seems weird for a sans fangame, but that's fine considering this encounter is an extra battle that is unlocked after beating sans.
The reason this happens is because of the human messing with time through resets. After doing that for thousands of times through thousands of timelines they end up in a dark void facing themselves.

This track is the last one before the sans fight. 
I always liked these kind of tracks that sound empty with some noises in the back, so that is why its been made for the game.
Oh yeah the reason its called "Odd" is because of sans seeming a little strange from the human's point of view.
