METAMORPHOSIS

Varik, by bus, travels to a small town resting near the peak of Mt. Ebott. He has been called for one last job: to find and kill whatever is kidnapping the children residing in the town. Nothing he hasn't seen before, right?

One Last Job (CD)

* Several days after the defeat of Dr. Andonuts... 

* "Jesus, Varik..."
* "Wake up, dammit!"
* "I know it's been difficult handling whatever the hell happened out there"
* "But chill just a little on the drinking, will ya?"
* "...You really haven't changed, have you..?"

* "Anywho, Boss is wanting to speak with you."
* "Says he has another mission to put you up on."

01 - Synchronicity

* "Hey Varik-"
* "Oh god, what happened to you..?
* "Last mission really must've shook you up, huh?
* "Anyway, ever since you got back, it looks like the townsfolk finally found peace."
* "You're a damn good hero, Varik"
* "But, there's something that needs doing."
* "And you're the only one fit to do it."

* "...So, a girl mysteriously dissapeared last night"
* "Her parents have looked everywhere around Twoson and found nothing."
* "This could be linked to the monster incident that happened not too long ago."
* "I'm sorry, but I want you to look further into it."
* "Witnesses say they saw someone trespassing through the barricades in the east..."
* ..Which leads to a long abandoned cavern system.
* "Varik, I want you to look inside that cavern for her."
* "And if you do..."
* "I might have a pretty hefty reward for you."
* "We're counting on you, Varik!"

02 - Bounty

* "Oh!"
* "Didn't see you there."
* "Have you fallen down aswell?"
* "No matter.."
* "Allow me to introduce mys- "
* "W-Woah there! Put the sword down! I'm not gonna hurt you!"
* "Jeez..."

* You turn around in disbelief.

* "What?"
* "Alright, Alright..."
* "You can call me..."
* "Mystery Man."
* "Is that better?"

* You nod approvingly.

* "Great!"
* "Suppose you're down here for a reason, hm?"
* "You don't look like the ' Whoops I fell down a hole ' type."
* "You mind if I come with? I really have nothing better to do."

* You nod again.

* "Excellent!"
* "To oblivion and back we go, friend!"

* "Oh?"
* "What have we here?"
* "My, it appears to be more fallen humans!"
* "Allow me to introduce myself."
* "I am Arch Priestess Animae."
* "Or.. well.. used to be. I am but an apparition who guards this temple."

* The desolate temple feels calm... but there's a primal sense of dread that you can't seem to shake off.

06 - Charnel Of Hope

Scrapped original version of Planet Buster.
Went unused because I didn't like how it sounded, and it sounded too much like Rude Buster when it should have sounded like Enemy Approaching.

08 - Planet Buster (OLD)

* "My, you two look exhausted!"
* "Traversing the tombs can be quite draining, after all."
* "Why don't you and your friend rest up for a bit while I cook us all dinner."
