I got to visit the new Masjid MAPS in Seattle Washington and made it to the last session of Retreat with Baraka Blue and Imam Mendez. We sang nasheeds and Baraka Blue recited his poetry and Imam Mendez sang and made beautiful dua Alhamdulillah.

This Recording is from a beautiful brother (beloved to me) who sent me this recording when he attended the maqam of Shiekh Yusuf a direct student of imam al Hadad who was brought to Capetown as a slave. Then soon after began to spread Islam in South Africa. Now, after 200 years there are about 2 million muslims in South Africa.
