The Winter Social is a boutique music festival showcasing a selection of a handful of top quality dance music acts in the idyllic setting of the Kent County Showground in Maidstone, Kent, UK. Presenting their mix for the occasion a duo from UK, Eli & Fur.

Located a stones throw away from London at the beautiful Kent County Showground. The venue captures the great outdoors, and an intimacy among its raw Warehouse space that sets the atmosphere for the one-dayer. The Social is brought together by Saved Records, the independent music label of house and techno DJ Nic Fanciulli.

Recently the organisers dropped the 3rd and final phase for the Winter Social line-up, which looks really promising for true lovers of deeper house and techno. This edition of the festival is bringing longstanding acts, such as Kompakt's head Adam Bayer, Innervision's Ame, the immense Maya Jane Coles, Guy Gerber, who's Rumors series in Ibiza got great appreciations this summer, Holland's finest Joris Voorn.

Alongside the latter, a few of names, rising to it's worldwide recognition, icluding UK's Eli & Fur. Since breaking onto the scene in 2012, Eli & Fur are known for their captivating sets, which have seen the duo playing next to the likes of Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82 and Dusky. To know what to be expected, the ladies brought together a strong party kicking bouncing mix, that we are happy to share.

Titled 'Follow Your Soul’ / ‘Skala’ and set to arrive December 18th, the record showcases just why both producers are held in such high esteem by Booka Shade with Chin Thanh's club ready, dreamy melodies serving as a distinctive counterpoint to  hotly tipped up-and-comer Habischman's darker, cosmic grooves.

A brightly burning star from within the 'Black Hole' behemoth, Dutch talent is drawn once more to the Mango Alley universe. Alex O'Rion firmly cast in superstar role "In Search of Sunrise" via global tour, matched in production genius through Cosmic Gate and legion stars.

A "Sinister" edge reveals itself as the intricate fibres of torn paper resemble the musical waveforms of percussive intent. A resounding beat throbs in relentless glory before cavernous bass razes the audio ground in sweeping path. Rhythm and melody join forces in sublime interconnected balance – two halves of the same "Sinter" foundations, forged from the white-hot mind full of menacing vision in a work of craft and guile.

Counterpoint and mirrored melodies complement like the hues of a colour wheel; freeform musical style within the confines of an audio canvas sees a diptych emerge through aural variations. Sparkling riffs dominate the foreground juxtaposed against foreboding bass, providing added depth and perspective that jumps through the speakers in bouncing, dance floor 'alternative' assemblage. Artistic expression in full-flight brings tessellated musical ideas together in a mosaic that is simply spine tingling in its disquieting nomenclature.
