Ever since I got into Hamilton, I've always wanted to try writing rap. This is what I came up with. First draft. I should have rewritten and polished it before publishing it to the world, but I'm excited to share the fun I had making it. It wasn't easy, but still fun. My rhymes are still awkward, but I can already see how amazing and groovy a rap can be with its rhymes. Lyrics by yours truly.

I’m sorry but it’s so hard for me to tell you the truth
I won’t let myself do it cos it’s against all my rules
So I say it’s alright
Despite my chest feeling tight
I lie to you I lie to me I guess we’re both fools

Deep inside I like that you feel guilty
Though I really wish you’d do something about it
What’s the point of all of your apology
I don’t feel better nor healed you’ve left me lonely

You rub the lamp hoping it will grant your three wishes
To fix me, to love me, to shower me with kisses
But the right course of action’s
Ending this inaction
But I see in your eyes the lack of satisfaction
