Jewgeni Belokon aka Fixrow ist ein Rohdiamant, der inzwischen in der russischen Hauptstadt lebt. Fixrow wurde vom Klang des Drum and Bass angezogen, als er 2011 Pendulum als Band hörte und später das DnB-Genre als solches entdeckte. Im Laufe der Zeit, als er mehr Tracks hörte, bemerkte er, dass es viele coole Musiker in diesem Genre aus Russland gibt. Das inspirierte ihn und er beschloss, sich selbst in dem Geschäft auszuprobieren. Fixrow mag die Atmosphäre in den Tracks und versucht, sie in seinen Arbeiten selbst zu erschaffen – wenngleich das Konzept von „Atmosphäre“ für jeden ein anderes ist. Beim Kreieren seiner Kompositionen legt er sie nicht in erster Linie für den Dancefloor an, sondern eher für unterwegs auf Kopfhörern. Er achtet mehr darauf, Pads dafür zu erstellen. Nachdem unsere Scouting-Abteilung Fixrow ausfindig gemacht hat, sind wir deshalb in besonderem Maße stolz auf „Dark Tales“, denn es ist erst das zweite Release überhaupt, was unter dem Pseudonym Fixrow erscheint. Wie von ihm selbst beschrieben, erwarten euch drei Tracks mit absolut verdichteter Atmosphäre. Mal düster und klaustrophobisch wie beim Titeltrack „Dark Tales“; mal aggressiv und mit tödlich perkussiven Stabs versehen, wie in „Exodus“ oder schaurig und verfolgend wie in „See Something“ – Fixrow avanciert für dieses Release zum Erzähler von drei individuell dunklen Geschichten voller Geheimnisse. Auf auf, liebe Hörer, geht mal schön auf Entdeckertour!

Yevgeny Belokon aka Fixrow is a rough diamond who now lives in the Russian capital. Fixrow was drawn to the sound of Drum and Bass when he heard Pendulum as a band in 2011 and later discovered the DnB genre as such. Over time, as he listened to more tracks, he noticed that there are a lot of cool musicians in this genre from Russia. This inspired him and he decided to try the business himself. Fixrow likes the atmosphere in the tracks and tries to create it himself in his work - although the concept of "atmosphere" is different for everyone. When creating his compositions, he does not primarily create them for the dance floor, but rather for on the go with headphones. He pays more attention to creating pads for it. After our scouting department found Fixrow, we are particularly proud of "Dark Tales", because it is only the second release ever, which appears under the pseudonym Fixrow. As he himself described, you can expect three tracks with an absolutely condensed atmosphere. Sometimes gloomy and claustrophobic like the title track "Dark Tales"; aggressive and armed with deadly percussive stabs, as in "Exodus" or spooky and haunting as in "See Something" - Fixrow becomes the narrator of three individually dark tales full of mysteries for this release. Let's go, dear listeners, go on a discovery tour!

NickBee is an instantly recognisable name across the darker realms of drum & bass. Constantly evolving his sound, he's stayed on its forefront since the beginning, grabbing the attention of scene heavyweights and distributing his hard-hitting sounds throughout the entire genre. Across the shadier world of the European club circuit, his music is played in every venue and his sonic cuts have become an integral part of its backbone. He's an architect of the neurofunk realm, wielding his trademark signature and pushing through the animalistic bassline he's become renowned for through this next release on Ignescent Recordings.

The experimental element to his music is what makes it interesting. The artist has become a tastemaker at such a young age, with his defining, next-level composition design never overstated or applied too thickly. With a balance of hi-tech and low-fi elements, he's expertly crafted this EP with the utmost precision. ‘The Space Tunnel EP' carries forward the type of production which has made him so famous and a defining part of the subgenre's history.

‘Space Tunnel' exorcizes the beast, with crashing drum patterns and a snare that crunches aggressively against its bassline. NickBee goes in for the aural jugular, unafraid to draw blood. 

Next comes ‘Chaos', featuring the daunting vocals of Emily Harkness. Taking you bit by bit into a climatic drop, NickBee smashes forward with pounding breaks yet remains inconspicuous with his approach. 

‘Get it closer' is an intimidating mix of percussion and whirling beat patterns, moving you closer and closer into its chaotic middle. 

And lastly, ‘Pandorum' nods to its track title with punching drums and mysterious atmospherics, bringing forward the type of composition which is well known throughout the NickBee discography.

Together all four tracks present an EP which breaks through every rule set up for drum & basses more marketable output. The future world of 174 is ruled by people like NickBee; those unafraid to break the rules and present a different side to the experimental soundscape which is available to every musician. NickBee takes charge of this dominion, which is the primary reason he's so widely known throughout the genre's every corner.

When you consider the cultural heritage of drum & bass, Spain isn’t necessarily the first place that would come to mind. However, within Spain’s murkier corners the scene has remained healthy, steadily growing its output of talent and upholding the same production standards prevalent throughout Europe. 

One of its most prominent figures is Ruben Asensio – also known as DJ
Assassin. Aptly named due to his quickfire skills behind the decks, he’s just as gifted in the studio. With his distinctive sounds and powerful scratch shoots, his solid and energetic drum & bass frequency has garnered respect globally. His dirty style, manufactured with strong basslines and electrifying synths, has seen support from the genre’s biggest players, including Pendulum, Dillinja, Mefjus and Spor. Following his transition from Hip- Hop into drum & bass, he’s remained inherently underground, this time joining the admired ranks of Red Light Records.

Alongside DJ Assassin comes Loop Stepwalker, also hailing from Spain, with a history littered across dance music’s darkest genres. His eclectic tastes helped him become a prominent part of bass music culture in Spain, having featured on Rinse FM and signing an array of releases on the underground’s biggest imprints. Moving constantly across a huge portfolio, he joins his fellow Spaniards for this next colossal release.

‘The Fury’ is unforgiving, relentless and crashes forward on aggressive beat patterns. The record alludes to its track-title, throwing hit after hit of sonic chaos, pulling itself forward on its darkly engineered segments, gritting its teeth with every distorted breakdown. The record grabs you by the throat, with well chiselled hooks and each industrial slam of drums. Through its anarchy, both artists demonstrate why they’re such revered icons within the Spanish scene and beyond.

And finally, Kalashnikov joins the two for collaborative track ‘Techno Militia’. Continuing the unyielding, powerful vibe prevalent throughout its predecessor, ‘Techno Militia’ throws itself at you layer upon layer. There’s no sign of limiting the impact and each artist brings their individual skillset to create optimum damage, with Red Light Records continuing their reputation for their no-holds-barred releases. Each featuring artist helps them maintain their hegemony of the underground – one soundtracked by records of the same calibre.

The year was 2040. High resistance Corporation, which was engaged in space exploration and communication with planets outside the Solar system, has long been in contact and exchanged experiences with creatures from the incredible beauty of the planet called Atlantis.
During the next scan of the Universe, analyzers showed powerful energy, at this point, the second planet observer reported that the picture of her lost, it meant a complete loss the connection with satellites. it was decided to send into orbit this planet operational rapid response team to determine what happened. As they approached the planet, their suspicions were immediately aroused. From a distance, it looked like a desolate Mars. Not so long ago, flowers grew here and the greatest of all existing races lived here, but in an instant, everything changed, now you need to try to find at least one living soul. When we installed the image, we were terrified. Fear enveloped these lands as if the seven horsemen of the Apocalypse had swept everything away and left nothing in their path.
After a long scan of the area, the crew received the signal of the surviving "Atlanta", located near the planned landing site.
In search of survivors of the sage landed a group of space marines (Synestika&Mellanox) led by the commander and part-time physicist Mindhead.
What was their surprise when only after the landing signal they heard the primal roar. This was immediately followed by a huge earthquake. they saw the surface of the planet split, and an invisible monster, more like a reptile, crawled out of this depression. Turning around, the crew realized that their breakwater had collapsed right into this split. And now there is no hope of salvation, when suddenly after the monster flies the same missing Atlantean (old man) and begins a battle that was like the greatest battle, a battle that has not yet seen the light. The very sight of these creatures made the ground dry. The clouds were thickening, and the dust stood in a column, as before a thunderstorm. They fought to the death for twenty-four hours. Our team of course was fully prepared and did not stand aside, tried their best to help Atlanta. A day later, we still managed to destroy it, but with what victims. Atlantean fell, but before his death, he told how it happened. How reptiles invaded their home and swept away everything in their path. On his last breath, he showed us the way to the underground laboratory where the biomaterials for creating such things are stored. He asked us to do everything but keep the peace in the Universe and not prevent the mistakes they made.
The team recorded all the events and passed the materials to the information processing Department of the High Resistance Corporation, and after processing, we present them to you. You can plunge into the whole atmosphere of what is happening and it is safe to say that you will be surprised.
Documentation of the 004 cases dubbed Wasteland will be released on July 6. On this day we will reveal all the secrets of this operation

ChaseR returns to Neuropunk with his first full-length EP on the label: the CURSE DEATH LINK EP!

Let's set the scene a bit. Our protagonist is a guitarist who just landed his first big gig. Just as he is on his way to live it up in his favorite pub, The Iron Fiddle, a street performer in a nearby alley catches his attention. Her voice, her dance, something about her just drags him towards her. His heart beats faster and faster. His inner danger radar tries to warn him, but to no avail. In a flash her facade falls, the beautiful voice turned into an ear-piercing shriek. The DANCE OF SIREN has trapped him.

She drags him to a dark room. Candles everywhere, strange occult symbols on the floor, piles of books all around. She starts speaking in tongues that only she understands. Suddenly, she grabs his arm. Pure agony shoots through every part of him, while she undergoes a rapid transformation. The grimace turns into a smile, the arched back and crooked teeth straighten, all of her bodily pains are transferred to him. This, is the CURSE DEATH LINK. He blacks out.

Our protagonist wakes up and stumbles his way out. As always, he greets the people on the street. Instead of greeting back, they seem to be actively avoiding him though! Confused, he continues his path home, when he catches a glance of a ghastly face in a nearby window. He slowly goes back to take a closer look at this spectre, only to find that it was a reflection. Of his own SUBHUMAN face. Shocked, he leaps back and rushes home to hide his shame, the Siren's song echoing in his head.

Our protagonist isolates himself, turning away friends and family. His mind races: How would he be able to play at his breakthrough gig? His one chance at success? "What if... I hide my face with a hood?", he thinks to himself. "I could barely see the guitar, but what other choice do I even have?" Desperately, he decides to learn how to play blindfolded. Countless days filled with tears, sweat and blood later, he has done the impossible. BRAILLEFUNK, as he calls it, is a reality.

Showtime. He has prepared the least see-through black hood he could find and is ready to rock. Even though the crowd is sceptical at first, that quickly goes away as soon as the first note is played. A minute later they are loving it. They are even cheering for an ENCORE afterwards! During the crowd's endless chanting and stomping, he reflects on the last few weeks for a moment. While he has found a way to live with the isolation, life as he knows it is over. But for this brief moment, he forgets all about it. For a moment, there's just music.
