Not in despair but the incredulous thoughts call from deep inside The Beast to awaken him.

For centuries, the master hunter of monsters has destroyed every upstart that has tried to take his place.

A place he has owned with No Ghosts or Gimmicks to keep him in his rightful place in 3057. Of course, the talentless pretend heirs to the throne have tried everything to this point, some call it the Break Point, but Cthulhu sees it all.

It’s Not What You Know but what he has lived and breathed is his element of control and righteousness. “They pretend, I rule!”,
The Beast exclaims waking from his slumber as another attack fails on his kingdom. It’s not arrogance to think these simulations of talent are beneath him as they try and try and try again with their cohorts to take over his rule. A smirk grows and spreads across his gnarly features. TRCD will be proud, he has yet again protected the Gods from the ungodly. Stay the course . . . . . . . .

It's become quite a tradition now. TRCD brings in the new year on VTO Records with a nuclear bomb of an EP taking Neurofunk to its limits with a plethora of cyber-esque beats and bass scattered with ferocious ideas bringing a perfect end to what has been a phenomenal year on VTO Records, with our biggest output year to date.

A true milestone for both the label and the artist, to welcome in 2025 in style

1/ “No Ghosts, No Gimmicks”

This one is strictly for the purists, A devastatingly eerie intro brings this one in as a solid Neurofunk slammer and an easy favourite to all welcoming the cyberpunk sound of VTO Records.

2/ “Break Point”

Enough is enough! TRCD takes it back to some of his musical roots on this one. Tearing out with an insane metal intro that builds to a neuro slapping crescendo of violent synth work and heavy bass.

3/ “Not What You Know” 

Back to business with the final track of the EP and taking us to a newer and unbridled free of form sound from the man TRCD, With a ton of inspiration and an array of new techniques and skill, virtually unmatched from many producers.

4/ “The Beast” (VIP mix)

What more can be said about this phenomenal redo of a classic. This one has been a DJ tool for a little while now and we are over the moon to finally unleash it to the masses.

A self-described ‘messed up rhythmist’, the
dark and dense musical world and frequencies
of Impak is something which many drum & bass
fans will be familiar with. The individual wave
forms he created always get their own time to
talk. His high levels of bass modulation, as well
as his weird digital textures have drawn in a
global audience which will be waiting for this next release with a keen ear. The international DJ/producer, born out of Spain, explores his digital evolution within each one of his tracks. Technology is the key and his conceptual miscegenation is the tool in which he does this. It’s a way in which he’s explored clubs and festivals in over ten different countries, playing in as many as fifty cities around Europe. His residency in Spain’s Industrial Copera gained him international attention and after releasing on a wide range of record labels, he’s had over twenty releases on the market.
All these numbers are dizzying for an artist, even for one who’s been in the game of production since he was seventeen years old. So, it comes as little surprise that he’d come under the radar of C4C, a genre changing imprint which has been running for over two decades. Having already collaborated with one of its head honchos Optiv, he’s about to unleash his ‘Perceptions’ LP on the C4C imprint.
Featuring ten colossal tracks, from the crashing drum work of ‘Global’, right through to the tech-driven madness of ‘Unhappy End’, Impak goes for the jugular. Collaborations such as Impak and Kung’s ‘Anywhere’, Impak, Optiv and CZA’s ‘Neurons’ and Impact and The Clamps ‘Passengers’ bring a host of other mainstay names into the mix. Whilst standalone records ‘Tremor’ and ‘Mastodon’ continue the harmonic highs and slamming breakdowns which Impak has become renowned for. All-in, the ‘Perceptions’ album is a massive catalogue of work. For it to be made welcome in the home of C4C makes total sense. With their commitment to changing the musical landscape and high-arching production, the combination of C4C and Impak music was a match which they knew would send shockwaves throughout the wider scene.

**Shizo van de Sunflower: From Working-Class Child to Celebrated DJ and Producer – A Life for Music**

DJ & Producer / Deep House, House, Electro, IDM, Drum and Bass, Dubstep Works – Highest-Quality Remaster. Shizo van de Sunflower, born in 1977, spent his youth in Apolda, Thuringia. As the child of a working-class family, he grew up with little financial freedom. The period of upheaval following reunification brought with it, for him, as for many in eastern Germany, the dark side of capitalism. In 2000, he found himself heavily in debt. But instead of resigning himself, the following years were characterized by hard work, retraining, and a relentless focus on his musical development. This persistence is now paying off, as his re-releases and the eagerly anticipated new album "Healing Rain 2025" represent the latest milestones in his impressive career.

Following the coronavirus pandemic and personal setbacks, Shizo van de Sunflower has emerged from a period of depression and released two albums within two years, while already working on further projects. The fun-loving TV junkie, sports fanatic, passionate sound tinkerer, and track tinkerer is thus continuously expanding his fan base and simultaneously celebrating his social media comeback. Following the success of the 2020 IDM EP "Simple Mind," this year's ambient album "Drone 1," and the drum and bass single "Changes," the Dresden-based artist is laying the next musical foundation.

Shizo van de Sunflower has reissued his 14 best musical works, created between 2006 and 2016, for video creators and image filmmakers, remastering all of the tracks to a high standard. This is exciting news for video artists and anyone who wants to experience the artist's full sonic spectrum: "I simply want to position my music better than it currently is on the Creative Commons Platform. My successes this year demonstrate the interest in my music. Therefore, changing platforms and re-releasing it was inevitable for me to bring the music up to current quality standards."

The remarkable success of "Drone 1," which was released on February 28, 2022, and quickly reached over 11,000 streams on Spotify, as well as the drum and bass single "Changes," released on October 7, 2022, which has already garnered over 14,500 streams, speak for themselves. With his first album and the successes he's accumulated, Shizo van de Sunflower has not only found his fan base, but also already has the next "shizoelectric hammer" under his belt: "Works (2006-2016)," the concentrated work of the great Dresden native, was released on November 11, 2022.

The feeling? Vinyl! Such figures and perspectives naturally lift Shizo van de Sunflower's spirits. "I'm blown away by this success," confirms the now 48-year-old do-it-yourself artist. "There's hardly anything more fulfilling than simply doing your own thing and reaching and inspiring people with it. It's a good feeling." That's why he decided to produce his album on vinyl, limited to 100 copies, available at Amazon, at the Dresden vinyl shop GrooveAmt, in Jena at FATPlastics, in Munich at Monkey Island Records, and at the Cologne Kompakt Recordstore.

At the same time, he wants to actively entertain his fans and anyone who wants to become one again as a DJ: "Getting people moving with music, even if they're just tapping their feet, is simply awesome," enthuses Shizo van de Sunflower. Alongside all the dancing and vibrating vibes in Shizo's music, fans who want to let go, who need to be caught, who are looking for peace and balance, will also find a home.

In summary: In Shizo van de Sunflower's world, those who are vibing and listening will be just as captivated as those who let their feet dance uncontrollably across the floor. What else is there to add? May the sun be with him – and we can already look forward to "Healing Rain 2025"!
