Sometimes I still get up in my head about meeting these guys. In this weeks case,  I went to the label boss of one of the hottest labels in DNB to ask if he could get her to do a mix for us because in my mind that felt more comfortable...lol. It turns out I should have just sent her a message. She's the nicest! Representing Overview Music, North Carolina, and American underground dance music culture, please welcome VELLE. There are a few producers in North America writing music at her level. What's funny, is most American DNB heads probably have no idea she's American.  Artists like her are the tip of the spear in underground sonics. Not only here in the states but globally. We're really excited to share her mix with ya'll. Tracklist below.

Beta 2 has been mastering the art of production for years, blending jazzy elements with cinematic depth to create truly immersive Drum & Bass. He’s long been one of the most exciting artists on Metalheadz, so it’s a real treat to see him back with a fresh three-tracker, ‘White Dahlia’.

The title track takes a different approach, stripping things back with organic, live instrument-driven sounds rather than the usual synth-heavy style—it’s a real breath of fresh air.

On the flip of a limited edition white 10” lathe cut, ‘Kerb Kruncher’ throws it back to the early 2000s with raw energy and gritty textures, delivering some proper nostalgia.

Closing things out, ‘Carter’ is classic Beta 2—deep, moody, and dripping in atmosphere, with those signature noir vibes and rich double bass tones.
