There was a certain curiosity about Lewis Fautzi's next step with us. Despite his own personal style, we couldn't imagine that he would choose to release a new atmospheric and experimental album. The result is absolutely stunning. 'Manner of Death' was produced during one of the worst moments of his life and the feelings he put into it are not relatable for most of us but yet understandable. Besides all this there aren't enough words we can write about it. All we can do is be thankful for such a masterpiece!

From the skittering and evocative pads of opening track 'Neon Flashbacks' to the irresistible pump of 'Guiding Star' the release gets off to a captivating start. Centering the release is 'Disorientated', a truly mind-melting layering of sounds absolutely made for losing yourself in the dark. 'Crystal Caverns' places delightful rotating melodic shards against an irresistible rhythm and acid-like bass. Closing track 'Gritting My Teeth' is a heavy slab of menacing techno, setting the scene perfectly for the second release of the series.
