I can safely say I wouldn’t have the confidence and passion I do now without this station, it gave me somewhere I could meet people as nerdy as me, and it gave me my first real opportunities as a dj. Don’t want to get too sentimental, but yeah without 1020 fuck knows where I’d be now.

Returning to the remix series again, this time with The Future Stylin' remixes of the rare EP from 1993, originally written and produced by Rob Haigh under his alias Haute Control. This time we are pleased to be working with DJ Trax, Syko, Denham Audio & ManiFesto each one bringing their own take on Rob's 1993 track.

Reptile Mob is back with a third part of its superb on going compilation series and this one looks at different aspects of the garage house sound. Side a-begins with some fresh four-four grooves no least the opener from the legend that is Perception with Andy G and S.R.'s dubby 'Let's Go' remix. Conspiracy Dubz keeps it bumping with the old school feels of 'Musical Rush' and on the B-side it is more of a 2-step sound that emerges with jazzy melodies and female vocals. Groovy D's 'Another Chance' is the real standout for us with its classic vocal sample worked into a nice kinetic rhythm.

On the EP, 'Rock Da Place’ and ‘Shake That’ open the project in cowbell infused hard-house fashion, before moving into bassline focused ‘Symbiotic’, with the body of work closing on ‘Love Me Less’ a cloudy-jungle special that encapsulates Groovy D’s ability to cover all genres.
