"We had to wait five odd years to finally manage to release the very first record entirely produced by Kisk on Apparel Tronic. The label’s co-founder and co-owner put together a stunning experimental mini LP called ‘Weeks’, which contains seven tracks, named after every day of the week from ‘Monday’ to ‘Sunday’. The digital album features a vast range of sonic experimentations, applied on several different tempos and epitomises Kisk’s urgency of changing, during a very defined time span, his perspective on music production. The hard-hitting rhythm sections, the creamy bass-lines and the frantic, eerie atmospheres that he is able to display in ‘Weeks’ haven’t always been the cornerstone characteristics of his musical formation, which so-far have been rotating pretty much around Jazzy House, Jungle and Trip-Hop. However, the style exercise he put in place with this LP explains his tireless determination for finding new motivations, new stimuli and perfectly represents his puzzled, unorthodox, curious personality. ‘Weeks’ is the most accurate example of his versatility and we’re thrilled to introduce you to it, on Apparel Tronic, always on the lookout for innovation, newness and sonic mutation.

Morale is clearly reflecting what "House music" means, the 90's drums in combination with a melodic arpeggio and a strong “Detroit” chord creates something which smashes definitely the dance floor. Alongside “Morale” our residents Alfa Cornae (aka Marco Dassi) and we.amps dropped two crazy and well-structured remix that highlight the original while maintaining its own strong style.

PIFF Records welcomes Venice-based producers Nicola Brusegan and Steve Hammer to the label on their latest release, Different Gear EP.

Both producers have a rich history of collaborations, sharing releases on a multitude of labels in recent years. Despite not sharing production duties on any individual track on this release, their musical styles seamlessly blend together to construct a rich sonic tapestry traversing vibrant deep house and soulful dub techno.

The first four tracks on the EP will be available on both vinyl and in digital formats. Steve Hammer offers a simple-yet-raw bassline paired with crisp 808 percussion and dreamlike pads on Black Jack, in contrast with the more upbeat and playful Sadiq. Magic Colour, courtesy of Nicola Brusegan, revolves around a thunderous pumping bassline and stripped-back drums, whilst The River is centred around dubbed-out chords which keep pushing the track forwards.

A plethora of 90s-infused soundscapes continue throughout the final five tracks of the release, available exclusively in digital formats. Highlights include the lively serotonin-drenched melody of We Can Do It, and the glitchy arpeggio of Place 4 (both provided by Steve Hammer), alongside Nicola Brusegan airy pads and hypnotic bassline on XX33 and the Chicago-style vocal sample of Naked.

Rounding off the release with Look Inside Me, Nicola Brusegan applies melodic pads and shuffling drums to create a hazy track available for free download for buyers of the digital EP.

Over the course of 9 tracks, the pair of Venetian producers express the soulful grooves of 90s house through refreshingly modern production standards.

Happiness Therapy continues its 2023 release schedule this April with a welcome re-appearance from French talent @mogan_is_mogan. The five track Flowers Remember marks his debut full-length feature on the imprint and includes a remix by label mainstay B From E.

Fast-emerging, with a clear ear for what makes the perfect dancefloor melody, French talent Mogan is one of the country’s leading musical exponents. His discography speaks for itself, with a string of releases on Gents & Dandy’s and Sampling As An Art Records. He’s no stranger to Happiness Therapy either, having appeared on the two most recent Happy House compilations, which led to him receiving massive support from french legend Laurent Garnier. Yeah that’s right! Now, Flowers Remember marks his first full-length outing on the imprint, proving that Mogan is just getting started.

Santa Cata Records was conceived in the record store, Santa Cata in Palma de Mallorca.
Founded 3 years ago it has become a hub for local artists, an essential digging spot for visiting DJs, as well as being open to all music lovers.
With the vibrant local scene producing so actively, setting up a label was a natural step for us, providing a platform for the artists living on our beloved island.
The first E.P. is from various artists living in Mallorca. International artists Dani Casarano and Hamid now spreading their roots on the island, and local talent in the form of Planetary Instincts own Dojo Zone and Halbert.
The EP focuses heavily on the dancefloor, innovative modern music
laced with old school influence.
The record boasts a dancefloor cut with a jacking touch, another breaky acid lines under modulated chords. Flipping it over a 90’s bassline accompanies trance pads, and finally a catchy melody that will be following you around for weeks.
