Love Me Like You Used To

Started by muting the whole session except the vocal and asking: how would this feel on a mainstage at 2am? Wrote a new riff, rebuilt drums, bass and builds around that hook, pushing for low-end impact and explosive drops. A/B tested versions with DJs until it hit. Plan is to have DJs road-test it, capture real crowd reactions, then use those clips in Reels/Shorts and send the track to festival-leaning dance playlists that look for peak-time energy.

The idea for this song came to me during a long train journey between Hamburg and Bordeaux. It was inspired by the speed at which the landscape and, in the evening, the lights flashed by, but also by the hustle and bustle of the train stations and the anticipation of reaching my destination. A contrast of tempo, beat, and cinematic, sweeping elements.
