Prophet is proud to present the next release with the new emerging duo WCYA, that release “Disturbance of Perception Ep”, two powerful original tracks with three remixes by techno masters Kessell, Temudo and Ricardo Garduno.

Disturbance of Perception is a deep techno Ep, where all sound is sour, dark, and pretty Hypnotic. Really massive are also the remix of Kessell, Temudo and Ricardo Garduno, which do a complete vision of deep techno.

On this first release on Lømsk Records, four characterful & sly tracks reside.

Starting with “Greven”, its focus is on an eroding & melodic synth line, with pulsating & abundant drums and clattering hi-hat patterns. Next comes “Skamsen” twisting things with wriggle-inducing detuned polyrhythmic sequences & straight machine funk. With the two tracks on the B-side, things take a shifty turn with the first one being the nervous “Svett”, a sweaty energy entity with haunting reverse elements. The record rounds off with “40W”, a hysterical action-filled no-nonsense track rooted in classic dance-floor action.

Lømsk Records, masterminded by Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell, is dedicated to our own musical output, is firmly rooted in the mindset and spirit of utilizing a somewhat playful & mischievous, but always genuine, approach to the concept of underground dance music and as a label.

An approach that is faithful & influenced by the characteristics of old Swedish labels & artists we were inspired by as young techno enthusiasts. These are also components we often feel are deprived in the world of contemporary electronic music. And when something is repressed it’s natural to seek to add to it. FillIng the vacuum.

Rraph is the acronym of Rafal Pazdzior, Polish artist on the scene since 2013 with a fair number of releases on on labels such as Nachtstrom Schallplatten, In Silent Series, Black Brook Limited, Wunderblock, in addition of course to the labels in which he holds the role of A&R : Gynoid Audio, Counter Pulse, Translucent. He has also performed with his live sets and DJ sets in the main European clubs. Since 2015 he has also been active in the organization of important techno events in Poland. Rraph is on his first single EP on [R]3volution Records, but it is not his first appearance on the label, having contributed with his very personal remix of the track "Solipsism" signed by the label owner Michele Mausi, to the release "R3mixes EP vol .3 "released in early 2022. With this" Azrak Ep "Rraph treads the darkest and deepest soundscapes of techno.

Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture. 

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and  several periods in Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once. 

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound. 

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, Detroit's Movement Festival, and Brookyln's Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.
