Histeria by Drop E has shamanic and mantric energy from the start, a spectacular deep techno theme to dive into emotions.

Corev by Fixeer is trully spellbinding. A rave bass line, the loopy main synth, noise and cymbals are combined with expertise. A significant piece of art.

JLTZ's Inside the Mineshaft is driven by a roaring bass line that is always present with small variations. Dirty broken hats and a noisy pad are characteristic in this tune.

Brainscan by Jorg Rodriguez is clean, strong and mesmerizing. It's main bass line is outstanding, raw and powerful throughout the whole piece.

Joton's From a Spark to a Flame is heavy on the bass kick combo. Straight forward 4x4 beat that has smashing power, Ideal for a big room PA.

Prodigio by Kolpos sounds magnetic. It's opaque  main synth is surrounded by short hats, filters and processors. Everything works smoothly together. Perfect sound design.

Lakej's Verified Trust is generated by two main bass lines, a perfectly timed pad, a bit of grind and noise. Designed to smash the dance floor.

Step of the Necessary by Michel Lauriola has a very obscure tone in the low end section, an old school vibe, full of strength and a raving main synth. Cymbals and Hi Hats are also distinctive in this composition.

Pyramidal Decode's Tangent is a first class hypnotic piece. The principal loop develops from start, blending with many layers, lfo everywhere, noise and sharp hi-end elements.

Rando by Ricardo Garduno is a hard hitter. The main ingredient is a super fat kick bass, accompanied by a severe noisy pad and a crazy main synth.

"Planet 4" is a bold and cutting-edge techno EP from Danish producer Kallax, merging industrial intensity with sleek, futuristic soundscapes. The EP unfolds like a journey into a metallic, cybernetic world, where each track pulses with mechanical precision and raw, powerful energy. Heavy, driving basslines and sharp, angular synths dominate the sound, creating an immersive atmosphere that feels both imposing and captivating, like stepping into a sonic armor built for the rave.

Kallax skillfully balances complexity and minimalism, layering intricate rhythms and cold, steely textures while leaving space for moments of eerie, ambient calm. "Planet 4" showcases his ability to create a sound that is at once deeply atmospheric and relentlessly physical, inviting listeners into a world of dark, industrial techno that feels both human and machine.

An accidental techno track; was working on something else and made a loop that sounded like raw old school techno so developed it into my first attempt at techno production.

Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture. 

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and  several periods in Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once. 

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound. 

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, and Brookyln's Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.
