Franco Biglieri ,aka NWHR, is a producer and DJ from Buenos Aires, Argentina. he has released several Ep’s on diverse labels out there like Illegal Alien, Ear to Ground, Injected Poison to name but a few.

His speciality is dense and textured techno, rugged and properly distorted and not for the faint hearted. His musical discourse has always a foot in the future, usually with a dystopian touch.

Listern Wisdom introduces us in the wormhole acting as a beatless intro that goes straight into action with Electrostatic which is made of twisted and phased acidic lines mashed onto a compressed groove on the best Mike Parker tradition. The collision of abstract synths with precise grooves become a massive dancefloor disturbing tool.

Metamorphism begins from below, with all filtered elements growing frequencies wisely until a tremendous sub bass takes control of the room. 

Nematoblastic appears like a logical continuation of the previous track, but with a busier rhythm, the super bass is still there but the synthetic side has more elements to showcase. Hi pitched noises and drones add tension to the overall feel transforming the track into peak time galore in seconds. A manual about how proper techno should be.

Omnius Resonance is a clubby track, shuffled and dynamic beats, funky synth lines, electricity and tension properly administered.

Archaeological Sites wink at the old Birmingham sound with a Regis-like almost EBM sequence rolling fast over a minimal kick and hat pattern. 

Virtus says goodbye showing the most soulful side of this producer, still intense and abstract but with a deeper approach to techno.

Franco Biglieri, también conocido como NWHR, es un productor y DJ de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ha lanzado varios EP 's en diversos sellos como Illegal Alien, Ear to Ground, Injected Poison, por nombrar solo algunos.

Su especialidad es el techno denso y texturizado, robusto y adecuadamente distorsionado y no para los débiles de corazón. Su discurso musical tiene siempre un pie en el futuro, normalmente con un toque distópico.

Listern Wisdom nos introduce en el agujero de gusano actuando como una introducción sin ritmo que nos lleva directamente a la acción con Electrostatic, hecho a base de líneas ácidas retorcidas y escalonadas fusionadas con un ritmo comprimido en la mejor tradición de Mike Parker. La colisión de sintetizadores abstractos con ritmos precisos se convierte en una herramienta inquietante para la pista de baile.

Metamorphism comienza desde abajo, con todos los elementos filtrados aumentando las frecuencias sabiamente hasta que un tremendo subgrave toma el control de la situación.

Nematoblastic aparece como una continuación lógica del track anterior, pero con un ritmo más ajetreado, el super bass sigue ahí pero el lado sintético tiene más elementos que mostrar. Los ruidos agudos y los drones agregan tensión a la sensación general, transformando la pista en una lucura en segundos. Un manual sobre cómo debe ser el techno adecuado.

Omnius Resonance es una pista de club, ritmos aleatorios y dinámicos, líneas de sintetizador funky, electricidad y tensión adecuadamente administradas.

Archaeological Sites hace un guiño al viejo sonido de Birmingham con una secuencia casi de EBM al estilo de Regis que avanza rápidamente sobre un patrón mínimo de bombo y hi hat..

Virtus se despide mostrando el lado más soul de este productor, todavía intenso y abstracto pero con un acercamiento más profundo al techno.

Our new digital album comes from the hands and mind of a very young and talented creator from the Basque Country, Asier Morillas, also known as A4. In his relatively short career he has managed to release in some of the key labels in the sci fi techno realm such as Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Faut Section, Illegal Alien or SUB_tl to name but a few.

He is one example of passion about music production, developing his skills studying with the best teachers, putting his money and time into perfecting anything audio or gear related, taking his time slowly to create a quality musical output.

We noticed him early on his path, and followed his progress until luckily he sent us a formidable demo comprising no less than 20 tracks. This album is the result of a careful selection after playing his demo all over the planet in the best clubs and festivals.

Music wise, Asier dives deep into the alien and outer space sounds of the future, with a minimalistic approach on the sonic components using only what is needed with efficiency as leitmotiv.

During this eleven track journey, he starts completely beatless and bleepy on the intro tune No Gravity, going subtly into the groove with Axis of Rotation, dynamically using the 909 sounds as a virtual jazz drummer combined with asymmetrical sequences and textures. Between the Stars continues the journey, again with extremely complex drum programming, bleeps, drones and old scifi movie vocal samples. Floating Free brings exactly what the title suggests and Polaris goes shuffled and deconstructed until Kynosoura and Eternally return to the alien dancehall.

The North Star, Spectral and Vega bring back the flotation and non gravity feel also focusing on the groove and the dance while Year 2100 finishes the space journey in a solid manner, showcasing his personal mixture of complex rhythms, skillful arrangement and sonic mastery.

An absolute delight to have such a talented person onboard and we are sure this is just the beginning of a solid career in this sometimes overloaded business.

We got the first taste of Yant aka Andrew Tomlinson’s production prowess with the transcendent ‘Cosmic Borders’ EP in late 2018. Clarke had originally planned to keep Blackaxon purely as an outlet
for his studio creations, but the quality of Yant’s work convinced him otherwise. The Hydro EP is an iridescent expression of Yant’s musical sensibilities. 

‘Hydro 1’ provides driving rhythms from the off, before a heady concoction of synths and a lead siren drive the production home. ‘Hydro 2’ is a dark pumper, reminiscent of earlier Blackaxon releases. It builds gradually, heavy on mood, before a propulsion of drums raises the energy to another level. A highlight of Clarke’s set
going back months, ‘Hydro 3’ is a delicious synapse-searer, marked by swirling synths and Yant’s trademark groove. ‘Hydro 4’ is a textured, low-slung chugger, imbued with thrashing dancefloor attitude and a glint of euphoria.

Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture. 

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and  several periods in Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once. 

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound. 

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, Detroit's Movement Festival, and Brookyln's Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.
