2024 saw the return of real deep house to the clubs and with label hits like Makèz & Life on Planet’s release Running from the noise, Crackazat’s euphoric track ‘In the sky’ and Dam Swindle’s soulful bumper ‘Forever and Ever’, we know that there’s some serious heat available for this year’s Round Up.  

We’re going into the 11th year of our annual remixes and we’ve got some tasty & unexpected combinations of artists. One of the highlights on this release is definitely Fouk’s remix of Elisa Elisa’s banger ‘Whistle me’. The original quickly gained support from many of the leading women in dance such as Shanti Celeste & Saoirse and we’ve now got Dutch duo Fouk with one of their best remixes in years by doing a complete flip on the warehouse vibe of the original. Their version is full of tropical whistles and percussion and cleverly detunes Elisa’s own vocal to match their style with a laid-back mood and heartwarming chords. This is the kind of track that transports you straight to a sunny beach where sunsets are the highlight of the day and dancing in the sand is all you wanna do. 

Dam Swindle choose to remix DJ Sneak’s dark ghetto’esque track ‘I can tell you what you want’ and have turned it into a peak time garage monster with classic 909 elements, catchy vocal chops and a lead that soars through the track with relentless energy. This is the kind of track that gets any house party going with it’s immediacy and extremely effective arrangement.  

On the other side of the spectrum, there’s Kaap’s remix of Crackazat DJ Sneak’s remix of Makèz that show you just how lush deep house can be with dubby elements, beautiful synth work. Perfect for the warm up and after hours! 

Makèz shows us why they’re one of the most exciting producers coming out of The Netherlands at the moment with their uplifting remix of Dam Swindle’s gospel-house tune ‘Forever and Ever’.  Crackazat’s synth wizardry is evident on his summery remix of Fouk’s latin-inspired jam ‘Tapioca. Lastly we see Elisa Elisa show her signature big room & warehouse style as she turns last year’s festival hit by Kaap ‘Sereen’ into a bleepy acid affair.  

There’s always a huge amount of support on the Round Up series from all across the board on radio, streaming Dj’s alike and this edition will be no different!

Giuliano Rodrigues is back with his second solo EP on Lucidflow! A young talent from Brazil who has continuously enthused us with his brilliant minimalistic techno and driving rhythms. The EP leads off with label boss' Helmut Ebritsch remix on Unimaginable which lives up to its name - a bouncy number that opens up a whole bag of tricks over its duration. First digging itself into a dark hole with a shuffling rhythm, a cheeky synth lifts the mood before crunchy bass is deployed to snap the floor into step. These elements casually drift together to create a teasing finale that will keep the floor guessing to the last.Unwavering is a dirty, dark, brooding and spacious track for never ending underground adventures. Constantly building, the warm low end's gentle insistence pushes against the hips while skittering percussion gives momentum to it's majestic pulse.The marching, mechanical feel of Look At Me with its tight drum programming will get people out of their seats, unaware of what is to come. With the dancing set in motion, intoxicated vocal snippets swarm around the low end to create both a twitchy funk and tripped out effect. Feeling The Space takes its time to unfold and chooses deep darkness as its motif, appropriate for the darker of the phenomenon; it gradually grows with prominence to a subdued crest before fading as it appeared. Last but not least the title track is the most typical of Lucidflow releases, heavily dub house influenced with sharp and intricate percussion that has a twinkle in its eye. Music never gets upset when you disagree with it, or leave it for another song. It will always be there to comfort you when you need it. That's why we think music should be treated in return with the same love, respect and honesty. We believe in the long standing quality of music as both an instrument that connects people in a club context and an emotional and personal journey that each and every one of us undertakes in their own way. 
Our goal is to reach as many people we can through our concept. Musically, by means of our selection of releases, provided by the artists we appreciate and have a sincere connection of friendship and respect with and visually, by means of our concept art that strives to bring to you, the listener, the many landscapes and values of the traditional Romanian culture.
As of now our roster and catalog is relatively small, but with time everything grows and flourishes and in turn, so shall we. We hold a promise of quality and desire to inspire people, people that come from all over the world and seek to learn more about our music and our culture.
