The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a
feeling - to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way.
It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden
windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching
across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of
the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step
pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound - the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.

Silent Sun is a cinematic electro track that captures the feeling of a quiet glowing star watching over a vast horizon. The sound unfolds gently with warm pads soft percussive textures and a steady deep pulse that moves like light drifting through silence. Shimmering synth lines rise slowly as if the sun itself is breathing bringing subtle emotion and a sense of hidden power. As the energy builds the track creates an atmosphere of calm strength and mysterious beauty inviting the listener into a world where stillness becomes motion and light becomes sound. Silent Sun is a tribute to the quiet force that shines without a word yet says everything through its presence.

This is the second track in the series inspired by the Mills of the North where I grew up. Was fascinated to find that in the Atlas Mills which were closest to my home, and where my gym was located there is now an amazing looking steam museum showing the inner workings of many mills.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
