Boyd Schidt is the solo project of Levan Lolishvili, a pioneering force in Tbilisi's electronic music scene and a resident DJ at the iconic KHIDI club. With a career rooted in both local innovation and international recognition, Boyd Schidt has become a key figure in the evolution of Georgian techno. Originally gaining traction as part of the duo Greenbeam & Leon, Lolishvili launched his solo venture in 2010. Since then, Boyd Schidt has carved out a distinct sound—fusing industrial, dark, and experimental techno into a signature sonic identity. His relentless exploration of textures and rhythms has led to releases on acclaimed labels such as Berlin’s Sonic Groove, KHIDI, Gordo Traxx, Deestricted, Front Left Records, Kindcrime Recordings, Studio R, Wavereform, Diffuse Reality Records, NovaFuture Recordings, KONFLKT, Omen Records, and Renegade Methodz. A core member of the legendary Sonic Groove label, Boyd Schidt consistently pushes boundaries both in the studio and on stage. Known for his immersive and high-intensity DJ sets, he has played at international venues while maintaining a strong presence in Georgia’s club circuit. As a long-time member of the KHIDI family, his residency at the club continues to influence and reflect the evolution of techno in Tbilisi.

PARADOX PODCAST #201 -- BOYD SCHIDT

Welcome to the 14th episode of the Gekiga Podcast. This week we’re stoked to host Martín Pistacchi aka NEEN.  

Hailing from Buenos Aires, this talented, young producer/DJ began his nightlife career organizing  local parties with friends. After some time behind the scenes, he began to delve into his true calling: production.

Within a few years, he not only mastered the technical aspects of production, but began outputting tracks that showed him to be an undeniable talent. The labels quickly came calling, and he now has a growing catalog on pedigree labels such as NEWRHYTHMIC, Semántica, 1997 Legend, and one of my favorite contemporary labels, the Italian based, EVOD. 

NEEN’s tracks have been played by the greatest DJ/Producer of all time: Oscar Mulero. He has shared the stage with masters like OISEL, and Translate, and this all happened within a matter of a few years. 

There’s no stopping or denying what NEEN brings to the table. I’m excited to forge a relationship with this amazing talent, and you will definitely see more collaborations between GEKIGA/GKG RECORDS and NEEN in 2026.

VARIA 016 - ALEXANDER JOHANSSON & MATTIAS FRIDELL

Fast. Impulsive. Techno. Three words to establish and define what the artist known as Egotot is all about. The young musician, hailing from the deep south of Germany, sets quite the pace when it comes to his vision of electronic music, regarding both tempo as well as quality. His beats, be in the studio or in the DJ booth, appear to come and arrange themselves seemingly with no effort. A Rave-infected sonic testing ground without ever feeling like a simple Rave pastiche. A vision of Techno that is obviously inspired by its sound of the 90s, but neither exceedingly aggressive, nor excessively happy.

Egotot has a special taste for rugged, up-tempo grooves which demand their own time to breathe and reveal their power. A sonic all-purpose weapon to be used on, for, and by the dance floor. However, his sense for music doesn’t stop at the edge of dancefloor-oriented Rave. It goes far beyond, right to and through the sometimes more and sometimes less subtle tides of electronic music.

This exemplarily reflects in his very own imprint, Schimmer Records, which he founded in 2019. The label has, in a rather short period of time, already evolved to a sonic reservoir of all different shades, all of which share a commonality – quality in production, love to detail, and an undeniable appeal to avid devotees of electronic music of all kinds. 

There is nothing confusing about Egotot’s take on music. It is clean-cut, it is straightforward, it is always effective. The Industrial clout, the fast groove, the merciless rigor – this is how Techno should sound in the 21st century, and Egotot is its perfect avatar.

An extended opening session, weaving exclusive unreleased productions with a raw, textured selection to construct the night's foundation.

This recording documents that process in real time: four hours of reading the room's energy and guiding its momentum from the first arrivals into the depth of the afterparty. The set unfolds across four decks, concluding its final thirty minutes on a condensed setup as the main room was reconfigured for the exterior stage. The recording is complete, capturing the full narrative save for the final ten minutes, which were ceded to facilitate this technical transition.

GEKIGA PODCAST EP.16 - ADRIAN SKIBA

On today’s episode we’ve got Adrian Skiba, a Poland-born, Manchester-based DJ and producer who first got hooked on electronic music as a teenager back home in Olsztyn. Upon moving to Manchester in his early twenties, Adrian dove deeper into DJing and producing, experimenting with different sounds before settling into the hypnotic, driving techno project he now runs under the name SKZ.

Adrian also co-founded the platform and event series Refractɨon and joined Polish Techno.logy as both a resident and curator. Since 2022 his music’s been crushing dance floors worldwide as featured in sets of giants like DJ Nobu, Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, and Svreca. And now, with his own label Arya launching in 2025, he’s starting to put out music under his real name — Adrian Skiba - marking the next step in his journey.
