After appearing twice on Odd Echoes series, and being on the remix duties for the last EP of Julian Wassermann & Raphael Mader on Oddity; Artche present us his debut EP on the label.

The lead track ¨Lungs¨ is the opener of the EP, an energetic melancholic banger. His powerful groovy bassline, with the combination of the haunting pads and lead synths, create an uplifting vibe full of emotions throughout the track.

On the remix duties, Jody Barr, who also was part of the last Odd Echoes, reworks his version into heavier yet emotional cut.

Going deeper into the EP, ¨Tether¨ is the following track. The arpeggios and brass are the most catchy elements of this one, creating tension while the track builds up. The playing melodies and harmonies, create a beautiful response between each other, complemented by all the other elements.

To close the EP, Artche delivers two versions of ¨Passenger¨ which is the deeper cut. The percussion and the arpeggio, slowly build up as the track moves forward, releasing the tension with some beautiful chord pad stabs. The (Alt Mix) bring the version into a breaks mix, that makes you fall into the trip.

Tether (Original Mix)

Heîk is the solo project of the Mexican, Hugo Ibarra, who is no stranger to the label. With previous releases under other aliases such as Natural Flow and  ostil, we now have the pleasure of releasing his debut EP on the label under his new moniker.

"Resilience" the opener track, is a beat-less intro, full of haunting melodies, pulsating synths and textures that play with each other building up a beautiful dark story. A perfect beginning to introduce us into the world of Heîk.

"Apeiron" takes us to the dance-floor mood. A great groove, percussion and synths start building tension throughout the track, leading us to the main melody, which is a super catchy synth pattern, accompanied by textures, pads and glitchy sounds.

On the remix duties, Gardens of God, who has also released on the label on Odd Echoes' V.A., reworks the track into a more energetic version, keeping the essence of the original, but adding a super catchy and fat synth, which takes us to another dimension.

To close the EP, He k presents another cut for the dance-floor, "Arcane", in which an ascending synth with an arpeggio style predominate through the whole track. Melodies, pads and bass stabs play all along as the track keeps developing.

"Halcyon" is the most emotional track of the EP, a perfect closure full of chords, textures and melancholic vibes, with subtle synths, that take you into the perfect trip.

We welcome Russian producer Satya-Loka making his debut on Uxoa Dutxa Elite with an incredible single called "A Fall" with a brand new remix by Di Rugerio.

A Fall begins with melodies and a voice with a very melancholic feeling, the track develops between dark atmospheres with a robust and dominant bassline while the drums go with a basic but variant rhythm with different cuts that change perspectives, likewise the melodies evolve progressively making it a very complex track melodically speaking and very incredible for music lovers.

Di Rugerio performs his reinterpretation of A Fall with his characteristic Melodic Techno style with a powerful kickdrum and a marked bassline while the drums are delicately balanced maintaining the original main atmospheres in the background and likewise maintaining the voice with a slight reverb. Up until this point, the track has a very energetic and dancefloor-oriented progressive style while adding a new sequence of a Moog Sub 37 that gives greater emphasis on the break when it raises the cutoff filters making an excellent command of tension to continue with the drums and bassline.

We welcome Argentine producer Ivan Baffa who makes his debut in the Uxoa Dutxa Elite family with an outstanding 3-track EP plus a Di Rugerio remix that is totally dancefloor oriented with Melodic Techno overtones.

Lost is an energetic track from the beginning with a very vivid bassline while in the background it is complemented by dark and mysterious atmospheres with a leading sequence with fine sounds.

Souls in Conflict begins with a sequence that evolves in its filters and a simple drums with a robust kick reaching the first break where mysterious voices with echoes come up and a new sequence appears on stage carrying a very ethereal melody.

Better Than That arrives to close this powerful EP starting with a very explosive rhythmic base a progressive bassline with a forceful kick that fits into your mind and takes over the movements of your body while the hypnotic sequences that are amalgamating become more intoxicating and pleasant the sound journey arriving at the break where again voices are revealed to give you an important message in your subconscious.

A true must-have release for this fall 2021.

The 31st release of the label comes out of the hands of the Greek Antimatter Particle (@antimatterparticle) and is called ‘Gloomy Winter’. The EP includes three minimalistic and dark melodic techno originals, with emphasis on techno. Besides, we are happy to announce Heîk (@heik_ofc) is contributing to this EP with an energetic and more melodic orientated remix.

The first track of the EP is also the title track, called ‘Gloomy Winter’. The icy and dark vibe, which is sensible throughout the full EP, immediately comes forward. With tight and minimalistic percussion elements Antimatter Particle is giving a rapid groove to the track. On top of this groove, lingered pads and atmospheric synths are laid down.  

‘Floating’ is the banging second track. The lower part is a bit heavier and is giving a lot of groove and body to the track. The cold synth work is a nice example of eccentric sound design. Combined with the mysterious background percussion, it results in a very compelling composition.

The third track of the EP is called ‘Tar’. In the track the compelling vibe evolves to captivation. Founded by an acidy lower part, the ethereal pads are taking you to another dimension, where they keep you until communicating synths are taking over in the breaks. Together those elements are setting a haunting mood. 

The final track is Heîk’s remix of ‘Tar’. He took the compelling parts and main melody of the original and built his own world around them. The remix has a lot of energy with an ongoing flow. On top of this flow, interesting sound designs are taking shape, providing unexpected moments. Sometimes it makes you think twice about what you are hearing. So, HeÎk closes the EP in a dynamic and powerful way.

Onedotsixtwo continues to strike whilst the Progressive House iron is well and truly molten hot. Our 26th release bears the fruit of a magical meeting of minds, namely Australian favourite Matter & Sri Lanka’s Prince of Prog, Dimuth K, with their Road to Stanton Moor EP.

Matty and Dim deliver two absolute belters for this release. The lead track ‘Road to Stanton Moor’ is a deep and throbbing builder with tight percussion and eerie effects layers that float in and out of the track, as it rockets towards a momentous breakdown that’s guaranteed to send any dancefloor (or, right now, living room) sideways. 

The AA side ‘Exhale’ packs a progressive punch in equal measure, built around beautifully crafted synth lines and infectious melodies with some serious low end rigour for late night moments. Exhale made its debut at Woodstock 69 in 2019, grace à our old friend Hernan Cattaneo, and it’s been that elusive ‘ID-ID’ ever since, popping up in numerous sets from Hernan and Nick Warren since last summer.

We’re delighted to have Matty back on the label and welcome Dim with open arms … The pair have a really unique sound when their forces meet, and we wish them every success for this new chapter for them both.
