Vibe Chemistry is one of the UK’s most exciting and consistent names in electronic music. His breakout hit “Balling” became a staple on dance floors and in festivals across the globe, backed by heavy support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, and Kiss FM, plus spins from legends like Andy C, Chase & Status, and Wilkinson. Joining him on this project is Elro – an artist with deep roots in the UK rap scene. Known for his sharp lyricism and fearless experimentation, Elro first gained recognition through SBTV and Don’t Flop, going on to work with artists like Mike Skinner, Ghetts, and Wretch 32. As a producer under the alias Lupole, Elro brings a versatile, boundary-pushing sound that bridges hip hop, UKG, drum & bass, and alternative genres.

“Dopamine” is more than a mixtape – it’s a snapshot of chaos, recovery, and creativity. Born out of a turbulent chapter in Vibe Chemistry’s life, the project began shortly after he was caught in the middle of an active burglary and evicted from his home. With nowhere steady to land, he found refuge and focus in the studio of long-time friend and collaborator Elro – a rap artist also known for his production work under the alias Lupole.

The sessions were raw, spontaneous, and healing – music made not from pressure, but from the need to reconnect. There was no plan to over-polish or follow a formula. This is back-to-basics energy: friends in a room, vibing, creating, and capturing whatever felt good in the moment. The result is a fun, genre-jumping ride through different moods and sounds, built with Vibe Chemistry’s favorite people – many of whom he collaborated with even before the “Vibe Chemistry” was established.

This set was the biggest surprise of my summer. 10 days before Shambhala, I was offered a slot at the new Riverside Stage. I wasn't even planning on attending this year. I've been waiting for an offer like this a reeeal looong time. I've only played Shamb once before in 2018 at the Village for the Ragga Jungle Rinseout with my homie Orilla (RIP). It is a cherished memory. So finally getting a full set was a dream come true and I am overjoyed to share with you one of the bucketlist sets of my career! I played at 5pm on Thursday so I didn't wanna bang it out or go too heavy, just happy and energetic. Felt like i was starting the party. I was working on a housey summer mix at the time which i kinda scrapped and turned into this set, so it starts off very summertime pool party vibes but then goes into all my favorite tunes I've been rinsing this summer. And now it's here for your listening pleasure, I hope you dig it... and let's hope it won't be the last!

Yoooooo quick story time. Daily Bread has been a massive inspiration for this project since day one. I remember seeing him live for the first time and leaving the show thinking "who tf was that dude and how did he get everyone to dance like that?". Fast forward to 2022 and I was starting to get into making music. I used countless DB tracks as reference tracks trying to figure out how he does it. To this day, I still have no idea. So I moved on and have started trying to create my own style of dub/electro soul/bass hop/future funk. I feel like Im starting to find my roots and sound, and I wanted to take my FAVORITE track off Flashflood II and try to merge it with this style thats beginning to emerge.
