(Keep in mind that the YouTube video may sound a bit different put aside the codec damages, since I changed the stereo width and true peak for the damages to be lowered on the SoundCloud version - maybe it wasn't of any help for the damage though, but I'm still unsure.)

Presenting “The Backstage”; this fanmade, concept area is supposed to be the equivalent of Cyber City and Scarlet Forest for chapter 3... At least, kind of. Its key gameplay elements revolve around fire and ice, along with some electricity shenanigans, and it is inspired by both Hotland and the Core from Undertale - with some other twists, of course.
Kris and their allies will be able to enter it after defeating Mike and Rook at a first fake fight, in the Camera Complex (serving as a sort of mini, mid-chapter dungeon). The vibes aimed to be given there are of an underground citadel, buried below the deserted dunes of Dusty Land, yet filled with both elemental and technological stuff. Yes, I didn’t know on which foot to dance on lol, but oh welp I guess it can create somewhat of an original atmosphere? Hopefully?
Anyways, I hope you’ll like it.

So as most of you may have noticed, there is a thing which has been going on for a few months in the Deltarune community, about making fanmade “leaks” of the third chapter (and sometimes beyond); and honestly? After the guardian has crumbled into stone pieces, the big door was now unblocked. Vlad thanked Varik even though the ghost did all the damage while Kris just groaned. They entered the door and apparently came across another hallway but this time, it was full of portraits and artifacts. The portrait by the door was a picture of the Royal Family, the Dreemurrs. It was covered with dust and the faces were blocked by soot. There was three goat monsters in total, a king, presumably Toriel, and a kid and then a human. Kris shook in distraught.

* Is this... my family..?
* ...
* Asriel..?
* ...
* Is that... me..?
* No... this can't be.
* My parents aren't royalty...
* This isn't right...

Before Kris could have a breakdown, Varik gave them a heads up to cheer up and get going. They inspect another, this time an artifact. It was three crowns sealed in a glass encasing. One crown was bigger than the latter. The description below the crowns were "This is the Queen's and her two children's crowns, Toriel, Asriel and Chara." Reading this line snapped Kris.

* Chara?
* Who... Who's that..?
* ...
* I... do I... exist in this world..?
* If not... how..?
* Then there's no LIGHT WORLD here?  But why am I in my dark world outfit? This doesn't make any sense.

Varik nudged Kris to their senses and proclaimed that they might be from another universe. Kris gulped, worried about that possible true information.

* I see...
* I don't quite understand but how do I get out of here then..?

Varik rubbed the back of his head and shrugged. Kris pondered but to no avail just decided to wing it.

* Let's just continue onward. I'm sure I can find a way out of here. I want to see what was the past here.

Multiple things showcased MONSTER beginnings, while some showcased history of familiar characters. The Ruins and the secret Catacombs, the construction of the CORE, the creation of the amalgamates, the seven human souls... After looking at all of the items in the artifact room, the trio went outside the room to be on a bridge with towers of buildings from afar. Vlad laid down mid-air like on a mattress and exclaimed relief.

* (Man, glad that's over.)
* (...)
* You know... Those artifacts we saw...
* It's mad crazy! Can't ya believe it?
* Looking back to what we did was epic!

* Dude. You didn't even read any of them.
* All you did was try to touch it while we try so hard to repel your hands from them.

* Aw c'mon! Just wanted to see if I could break it or not.

* We'd be in more trouble if you did that. Want to see more of those guardians?

	Somewhere in the Catacombs, there is a hidden structure of rooms that consist of historical items of both HUMANS and MONSTERS, mostly MONSTERS. Only Toriel and a few know the whereabouts of the area. Toriel is the main keeper and visitor of the room, to reminisce and guard the commodities.
