Mysterious artist Yallahs serves up five enticing, dubbed-out cuts on UZ MI Records entitled ‘EXIT EVIL’.

Maintaining the luscious, deep sonics and warm aesthetics previously heard on the exciting London based UZ MI label run by James Vernon and Rick Silver, the unknown artist Yallahs lays down five fantastically, layered dub techno cuts. Previous releases on the label from the label bosses have garnered some terrific support from first-rate artists such as Laurent Garnier, Elena Colombi, B Traits, Duckett and many more as they continue to make a name for themselves in the electronic music world.

‘UAB’ kicks off the EP with lo-fi soundscapes, chunky, wooden drums and dub-tinged moods that shimmer throughout before ‘Exit Evil’ deploys hypnotic flavours, mind melting dub intricacies and murmuring bass grooves underneath.

‘Rising Numbers’ lays focus on muffled rhythms harmonsing graciously with hazy atmospheres and minimal modulations while ‘Public Image’ offers up reverberating low frequencies perfect for the soundsystem, deep compositions and layered pads that cruise underneath the meditative feels. The EP then delightfully rounds off with the pulsating ‘Sub Canvas’ that features growling oscillations, dark sonics peppered with undulating glistening pads.

UZ-MI Records serves up more heat straight out of Windsor, and once again label founder James Vernon is behind the five fantastic originals.

Under his own name but also as part of Money House Club with co-founder Rick Silver and Second Move with Dario de Marco, Vernon has amassed a fine discography of cultured house and techno with an innovative, experimental vibe. His quality material keeps on coming on his newly formed UZ MI imprint with five previous outings on the label that picked up support from the likes of Fred P, Man Power, Carsten Jost, Duckett and many more.

First up is 'Darts', a fantastic nine minute techno opus that is deep, sparse yet heavy. Dubby chords and watery sounds detail this most firmly rooted of grooves. The darkly alluring 'Tee Hee Hee' is a raw and prickly cut with jacked up percussion but scuffed kicks and a low-key vibe that is perfect for gritty back room spaces.

The dystopian moods continue on 'Wave Back', but this time with more sci-fi melodies and molten chords adding colour to a low slung groove that slowly but surely gets you in a trance. It is the sound design and unusual textures that elevate these tracks above purely functional fodder, and that's the case on the more intense and direct 'I'm Leaving The House,' a manic bit of wormhole techno to blow your mind. Last of all, 'I've Had Enough' is all busted sounds, alien effects, urgent drums and otherworldly rave atmospheres.

Made up of label founders Rick Silver & James Vernon, Money House Club are back on their
impressive, London based imprint following their unique ‘Fade 5’ and ‘Forwards’ releases. UZ MI
Records continue to parallel their simple yet playful philosophy building projects and releases around
hardware-tinged productions and lively aesthetics, which have picked up support from the likes of
Luke Slater, DJ Bone, Truncate, rRoxymore, Nightwave and many more.
‘Saves the Day’ kicks off the pack with raw drums fluttering above the eccentric, meandering low-end
and glistening melodies before ‘Busesss’ progresses with stabbing, otherworldly fx, inviting grooves
and acid pulses which keep you locked throughout. ‘Easter Children’ is next up and lays focus on
effervescent, contemporary DJ tool with a squelchy bass line and bumpy drums whilst ‘Sell It’
beautifully fuses dreamy pads, lush chords and off-kilter rhythms in an eccentric fashion.
Muffled drum sequences, meaty subs and warm chords peppered with detroit-esque rawness lay the
foundation for ‘You’re’ until ‘Aeerhh’ rounds thing off with a calming, ambient track featuring glistening
drones, uplifting leads and soothing atmospheres.

swirls and weighty low-end before ‘Processing Reality’ follows with dynamic melodic stabs, bumpy snares
and warm pads wavering in the distance. Rick Silver lays focus on skippy percussion fusing delicately with

Money House Club have released a second album under their label UZ MI records. ‘Forwards’ features 15 new tracks, which dig deeper into some dirty underground sounds.  Their unique mix of lofi techno and influence of jazz, house and hardware jams is prominent throughout this new record.
