Well, this song ended up getting another facelift.
It was a mixture of not quite suiting the area entirely, people missing elements from the old version and just general consistency, making it thematically appropriate.

I had done the majority of it, however @iyaiyaa did the drums, just cause it's my weakness.

The idea to make a theme for this guy came to me spontaneously lol, rejona came up with the concept quite a while ago. The basic idea was that eldritchard (that's their name) wants to leave the dark world and for this he needs a body and Rudy dies in chapter 4 in this take so... poor Rudy. Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

Flowey takes Papyrus's role. She's got herself her own radio program and filled it with "controversial" and "edgy" opinions which feebleminded sheeple can't handle (okay, glorified conspiracy theories). She isn't very well liked by the masses, or by the monarchy, yet somehow nobody's been able to catch her. She'll show them all the TRUE meaning of this world... Even if nobody wants to hear it.

Flowey, at this point, has been spared and talked out of trying to destroy the entire world. It sounds a lot better in theory than it does in practice. After reaching out in such a way, Chara is now someone who she considers a genuine friend. Someone who genuinely understands the pain she's gone through. Someone who genuinely wants to help her.

Congratulations! Flowey has now broken into a private government compound, and now has access to exactly the means she requires to spread all of her messaging to every single soul underground. Chara's her talkshow co-host, so they get to choose topics, and if they agree or not, and basically just end up 'yes, and'ing a bunch of Flowey's nonsense.

During Flowey and Chara's already on-going hijacking of the radio station, they seem to be interrupted, and the signal is hijacked AGAIN! A voice can be heard, cutting in through the static, begging for help, something about being trapped...? Whatever it is, it's distracting from Flowey's important propaganda--messages!!
