A dream came true when we played at the famous Tanzstube at the Hive Club in Zurich in October 2021. Special for us is that we were in this place about ten years ago on our first rave. And so we took the chance and created a massive rave together with all the dancers incl. our first sitdown on 1:52:47 - haha!

Mit dem Bucht der Träumer und dem Sternstunden Festival trugen in diesem Sommer gleich zwei Festivals seine Handschrift. An den Decks überzeugt er uns jedes Mal mit seinem energetischen und einzigartigen Sound, der die Massen auf dem Dancefloor ausnahmslos abholt und mitreist. Zudem betreibt er mit Rebellion der Träumer auch ein eigenes Label.

Der 101. Jeden Tag ein Set Podcast wurde auf dem Burning Beach Festival aufgenommen, wo Baba auf unserem Floor direkt am Strand das große Finale spielte. Viel Spaß damit!

From the dance floor to the DJ-booth, VABU literally kickstarted into Hamburg’s Techno scene over the past six years. After collecting first DJ experiences at Bollwerk in her hometown Lübeck, she soon got involved with her crew ‚Harmonie im Bassgewitter‘ and played her first official gigs. 

Her sound describes her feeling to the music, in the meantime she founds what she loves and created an unique vibe, her sound is energetic and varied with driving spheres and deep melodies- she has several expressions to unfold, but it's mostly found in the subgenre Melodic Techno.

While playing throughout the clubs in Hamburg, she was quickly booked for venues in different cities in Germany as well as for festivals like Habitat, Feel Festival, Deichbrand, Pangea Festival and many more.
From this time forward VABU is a fixed part of the techno scene in Hamburg.
In the past she also had two asian tours in April 2019 and February 2020. 

VABU, with her nascent production career got her latest release published on the compilation by 'Perspectives digital' in February 2024 called "Space Division".
