Being a part of the @rebelliondertraumer and @station-endlos-halle crews and having launched her own label project @tipping-point-music in recent months, one can always be curious what this versatile artist has in store for us next.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Ein neues Jahr beginnt, schon wieder von vorn, und Déjà-vu und je ne comprends pas reichen sich die Hand und winken den verwirrten Kreisläufern. Auch schon so, doch gerade jetzt, um so schöner und famöser, dass @WIDE-AWAKE-8 mal ganz weit wach zusammen am Flügel saßen: Neue Musik aus eigener Feder, ganz bezaubernd und ganz weit vorne, vertraut aber unbekannt.

While most will remember him from one of the countless performances with his well known side projects, only few will be able to recall one of Okaxy's (@ninzeokaxy) rare solo performances. While pulling the strings behind two of Germany's highest-rated and most groundbreaking musical novelties, there was indeed little time remaining to take care of his very own career. Yet, the ones who witnessed an Okaxy show can attest it's irrestible, drawing power on the crowd. We feel very sunshiny about the fact, that despite his plural responsibilities he still had the capacity to provide this current snapshot of his taste in music. It's time now to lean back and revel in this sonic goodliness..

Die Türen öffnen sich, leicht säurig. Herein, heraus, in die Cenote. Leicht benetzt ein jeder und ein überhaupt, ganz sanft so über allem. Mitten im Urwald, ganz weit, ganz wach, ganz nahbar und ganz fern, haben @WIDE-AWAKE-8 gespielt und mitgebracht was wir hier hören. Ganz live halt und ganz schön, auch ohne Blätterdach.

Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast ist eine Spezialausgabe der besonderen Art. Zu Gast ist der aufstrebende Künstler David Rausch. Der Freiburger Produzent & DJ begeistert sich seit Jahren für die elektronische Musik und geht dieser Leidenschaft mit feurigem Eifer nach. In seinen Produktionen verwendet er neben einem breiten Sammelsurium an Instrumenten und analogen Synthesizern, auch seine eigene Stimme zum musizieren. Seine Songs werden dadurch unverwechselbar individuell, vielschichtig und haben einen hohen Wiedererkennungseffekt.
David Rausch liefert mit diesem Set eine wahre Glanzleistung ab. Die gemixten Stücke laufen flüssig ineinander über. Es hört sich an wie aus einem Guss, einfach rundum rund.
