The album was produced by Simon Werner who was already responsible for the sound of the previous recordings of the band. The mind blowing cover artwork (with the emphasis on "art") was created by Ola Larsson.

King Dude returns with his latest meditation in eleven parts titled "Sex". Following in the tradition of unexpected divination through the good lord Lucifer, the King challenges the listener to explore the theme of sexuality through nothing other than rock n' roll of course. 
"Sex" was recorded in Seattle Washington by T.J. Cowgill at the end of 2015 through the middle of 2016 except for "Who Taught You How To Love" which was recorded by Drab Majesty in L.A. and "Prisoners" which was recorded by Michael Wollenhaupt probably in Berlin. All other drums were performed by August Johnson except on "Our Love Will Carry On" and the tambourine on "Swedish Boys" which were both played by T.J. Foie Gras sings on "Holy Christos", "Swedish Boys" and "Prisoners". "Shine Your Light" features back up vocals by Alicia Reid.

All other instruments played by T.J. Cowgill. All lyrics written and performed by T.J. Cowgill. Mixed by T.J. Cowgill and mastered by Blake Bickel at Dynamic Sound Services.

MACABRE OMEN was founded in August 1994 by Alexandros and Mournful on the island of Rhodes, Greece, in the town of Kremasti and Ialysos. Their first release was the ''Secrets of the Moonlight'' demo (1994). By 1995 as a four-member band with Alexandros on guitars, Lefteris on vocals, Mournful on bass and Stephen on keyboards, they released their second demo ''Before Darkness''.
By 1996 only Alexandros and Mournful were remaining in the band, with Alexandros also taking over the role of lead vocals and with the addition of Polyvios on drums and Michalis Savvakis as a guest on keyboards released the promo tape ''Olympus'' where the typical sound of MACABRE OMEN came to be.
In 1997 Polyvios left the band and Stephen returned on keyboards. The same year they released a split 7'' with Godblood from Cyprus.
By 1998 Alexandros moved to London, England and MACABRE OMEN became a one-man-band. With only Alexandros remaining and performing all instruments except drums and the split 7'' with Walhalla from Finland was released in 1999.
The band continued as one-man releasing the four-way split ''None Shall Escape with Wrath'' in 2000 and the split 7'' with the Norwegians Ad Inferos in 2001.
The band went on a small hiatus until 2004 when the two Italians Gionata Potenti on drums and Claudio Alcara on acoustic guitar joined the band. MACABRE OMEN, then working as a as full act again, released their first full length album after eleven years since their creation.
In 2006 they participated on the compilation by Kyrck Productions & Armour ''Hellas - The Black Death Anthology - 1989-2006'' with the song ''We Won with War''. Also in 2006 and 2007 two split 7'' EPs were released as a tribute to Bathory.

After some silent months that have went over to silent years, Chapel Of Disease now present their newest work entitled „...And As We Have Seen The Storm, We Have Embraced The Eye“.
Starting in 2008 as a band dwelling in the raw death metal sounds from the late 80s, Chapel Of Disease released their debut „Summoning Black Gods“ in 2012. Three years later it would soon become obvious that strictly following a certain genre would eventually lose its attraction to the band. With their 2015 full length „The Mysterious Ways Of Repetitive Art“ the band would find their way of mixing up sounds to create something unique.
With „...And As We Have Seen The Storm, We Have Embraced The Eye“ Chapel Of Disease follow that path, yet disregarding any genre specific expectations even more and putting all the effort in simply making diversified, enthralling heavy music. The outcome is a record somewhere between the atmosphere of black and death metal, with riffing from the golden days of the 70s and soundscapes of the synthie 80s. This album is to be released on the 23rd of November this year via Vàn Records followed by several live activities 2019.

URFAUST's new offering under the spell 'Teufelsgeist' is an impressive diptych of music (the devil) and spirit (geist).

URFAUST has orchestrated an album that represents the stages of intoxication. It starts with an almost euphoric state but slowly devolves in a downward spiralling delirium. Ambient in it's nature, but still filled with the pounding drums, guitars and unique vocals that are trademark URFAUST. A vessel to board to float to intoxication island. The perfect soundtrack that will hold the ritual drinker in it's grip for 34 minutes.

To accompany this musical journey there is a special bottle involved. Teufelsgeist. A geist is a spirit and in this case, that spirit is also a premium distilled small batch gin that has been carefully tuned in all it's exquisite finesse with Hoos London Gin and VRDRBR.
Recorded as always by URFAUST and Deportator in De Bunker. Artwork by Karmazid. Comes in vinyl, CD and later on tape as well. Best enjoyed in solitude in the dark with Teufelsgeist gin or any other spirit of personal preference. For fans of URFAUST and premium gin!
