SULPHUR AEON's second full-length, "Gateway To The Antisphere", will be released in cooperation between Imperium Productions and Ván Records on CD, LP and as digital download (via Bandcamp). The album was produced by Simon Werner who was already responsible for the sound of the previous recordings of the band. The mind blowing cover artwork (with the emphasis on "art") was created by Ola Larsson.

King Dude returns with his latest meditation in eleven parts titled "Sex". Following in the tradition of unexpected divination through the good lord Lucifer, the King challenges the listener to explore the theme of sexuality through nothing other than rock n' roll of course. 
"Sex" was recorded in Seattle Washington by T.J. Cowgill at the end of 2015 through the middle of 2016 except for "Who Taught You How To Love" which was recorded by Drab Majesty in L.A. and "Prisoners" which was recorded by Michael Wollenhaupt probably in Berlin. All other drums were performed by August Johnson except on "Our Love Will Carry On" and the tambourine on "Swedish Boys" which were both played by T.J. Foie Gras sings on "Holy Christos", "Swedish Boys" and "Prisoners". "Shine Your Light" features back up vocals by Alicia Reid.

All other instruments played by T.J. Cowgill. All lyrics written and performed by T.J. Cowgill. Mixed by T.J. Cowgill and mastered by Blake Bickel at Dynamic Sound Services.

MACABRE OMEN was founded in August 1994 by Alexandros and Mournful on the island of Rhodes, Greece, in the town of Kremasti and Ialysos. Their first release was the ''Secrets of the Moonlight'' demo (1994). By 1995 as a four-member band with Alexandros on guitars, Lefteris on vocals, Mournful on bass and Stephen on keyboards, they released their second demo ''Before Darkness''.
By 1996 only Alexandros and Mournful were remaining in the band, with Alexandros also taking over the role of lead vocals and with the addition of Polyvios on drums and Michalis Savvakis as a guest on keyboards released the promo tape ''Olympus'' where the typical sound of MACABRE OMEN came to be.
In 1997 Polyvios left the band and Stephen returned on keyboards. The same year they released a split 7'' with Godblood from Cyprus.
By 1998 Alexandros moved to London, England and MACABRE OMEN became a one-man-band. With only Alexandros remaining and performing all instruments except drums and the split 7'' with Walhalla from Finland was released in 1999.
The band continued as one-man releasing the four-way split ''None Shall Escape with Wrath'' in 2000 and the split 7'' with the Norwegians Ad Inferos in 2001.
The band went on a small hiatus until 2004 when the two Italians Gionata Potenti on drums and Claudio Alcara on acoustic guitar joined the band. MACABRE OMEN, then working as a as full act again, released their first full length album after eleven years since their creation.
In 2006 they participated on the compilation by Kyrck Productions & Armour ''Hellas - The Black Death Anthology - 1989-2006'' with the song ''We Won with War''. Also in 2006 and 2007 two split 7'' EPs were released as a tribute to Bathory.

Macabre Omen -  The Perfect Sound of North vs. South

The EP will feature the initial part of a bipartite meditation and celebration in euphoria for manhood's loss of the crown of creation. This meditation will be completed by the 2nd and final part on the forthcoming album later this year.
The B-side of the EP is entitled "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun", and thus is an obvious obeisance to the godfathers of this EP's central idea.
The "Takitum Tootem!"-vinyl is an experimental orgy of spiritual psychedelia beyond the mood and concept of the following album - thus it stands alone as its harbinger.

Irish Black Metal force Slidhr was formed in 2005 as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Joseph Deegan, at the time one half of cult Black Metal group Myrkr. After exploring Dark Germanic Heathenism through Myrkr, Deegan envisioned Slidhr as an entity devoted to the inexorable destructive power harnessed by the indifferent forces of nature, and a vessel of his scorn for a plaguelike humanity unworthy of salvation.

Throughout a career spanning thirteen years Slidhr has made its mark on the underground with its unique brand of Black Metal which is as creative and unpredictable as it is venomous and unrepentant.

Upon formation Slidhr was quickly picked up by esteemed French label Debemur Morti, and the band’s early years saw a prolific string of releases which caused a stir among an increasingly zealous and revitalised Black Metal genre. In three years as many releases saw the light of day, first an eponymous demo and EP,  before a split LP with compatriots Rebirth of Nefast was released on legendary french label End All Life Productions.


In the coming years Slidhr bided it’s time in the shadows, slowly growing stronger and awaiting the moment to strike. Frequent collaborator Wann had at this point relocated to Iceland, and their ongoing collaboration led Joseph to come in contact with the burgeoning Icelandic Black Metal movement. Drummer Bjarni Einarsson was subsequently enlisted to provide his now renowned skill and finesse to the band. The first release of the revamped Slidhr lineup was debut full length album Deluge, a 10 track epic which saw the band’s sonic scope broaden significantly, further honing the alchemy between raging malice and daring experimentation.


Following the release of Deluge, the connection to the Icelandic circle grew stronger, and a full live lineup was assembled featuring members of Sinmara and Rebirth of Nefast.


Slidhr’s first concert appearance took place in 2015, marking a decade from the band’s formation, as the band performed at the revered Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, New York City alongside Sinmara, Volahn, One Tail, One Head and more. A maiden concert appearance in Slidhr’s native Ireland followed at Siege of Limerick in October.

Also marking Slidhr’s ten year anniversary as a band was the Spit of the Apostate MLP, now on notorious Norwegian imprint Terratur Possessions.


Slidhr then embarked on its first full tour in 2016, the Dimensional Nomads European Tour alongside Shrine of Insanabilis and Sinmara.

2016 also saw Slidhr perform at the inaugural Oration festival in Iceland, spearheaded by frequent collaborator Wann. Oration would become an annual event for the next three years with Slidhr taking part in all three renditions.

Further festival appearances followed, among them Prague Death Mass, Caledonian Darkness in Glasgow, Scotland, and Inferno Festival in Norway, which has long since came to be regarded as an institution in extreme metal worldwide.


The long awaited sophomore full length, "The Futile Fires Of Man", will finally be released the 20th of July.

"The Futile Fires Of Man" sees Slidhr’s recording lineup expanded to a power trio, with Garðar S Jónsson of Sinmara and Almyrkvi taking the reins as bassist.

A masterful labyrinthine journey through feverish and feral traditional Black Metal tinted with psychedelic progressive flourishes and nauseating tempo- and mood shifts, "The Futile Fires Of Man"* showcases Slidhr at its most ravenous and accomplished, claiming Slidhr’s stake firmly at the forefront of the modern Black Metal scene.

With their 2015 full length „The Mysterious Ways Of Repetitive Art“ the band would find their way of mixing up sounds to create something unique.
With „...And As We Have Seen The Storm, We Have Embraced The Eye“ Chapel Of Disease follow that path, yet disregarding any genre specific expectations even more and putting all the effort in simply making diversified, enthralling heavy music. URFAUST's new offering under the spell 'Teufelsgeist' is an impressive diptych of music (the devil) and spirit (geist).

URFAUST has orchestrated an album that represents the stages of intoxication. It starts with an almost euphoric state but slowly devolves in a downward spiralling delirium. Ambient in it's nature, but still filled with the pounding drums, guitars and unique vocals that are trademark URFAUST. A vessel to board to float to intoxication island. The perfect soundtrack that will hold the ritual drinker in it's grip for 34 minutes.

To accompany this musical journey there is a special bottle involved. Teufelsgeist. A geist is a spirit and in this case, that spirit is also a premium distilled small batch gin that has been carefully tuned in all it's exquisite finesse with Hoos London Gin and VRDRBR.
