I nearly did this remix for London Records in 2001. This is the first draft and the only version I can find. The label insisted that I add more vocals to it (which wasn't the best idea) and the final version was horrific. Fortunately for everyone, it never got released :)

It’s a rare treat to get new Arcatype music. Three passionate music lovers who are striving to put music first, art first, meaning first. It can be hard to find sometimes. But this is what Arcatype do, and this is why when they proffer new music, it means something. And why we therefore obviously love to sign their music. 

And so we’re delighted to welcome them back for their latest outing with us, a solid two-tracker in the form of ‘Snow Days’ and ‘Split The Harp.’ 

The trio are in no rush to flood the market with music, or release something just for the sake of it. Waiting until they can all be in the studio together to write, an almost forgotten art and methodology, they carefully craft their tracks with a love and detail that sometimes seems to be missing these days. And it’s no different with their latest single. 

We hope you enjoy these as much as we are, and that you hear and feel the passion and meaning they put into their craft.

I made this track for a friend, who wanted a glitchy-experimental sound for his contemporary dance project. This is a final master, I don't think I will ever reopen the project file, unless if I make my own track from this. The Reason for that is because after a while I used to work as desired, which does not necessarily correspond with my thoughts and decisions. And because this track is more like a soundtrack than anything else, this works better with visuals - imho.
