After hearing their version of this in one of their sets, I felt an overwhelming need to play this out myself. But because it will never see the light of day, the only option was to try and make it myself. I've added a bit of my own flair here and there, but the main inspiration is from these two Gs. Enjoy!

This month in 'Unmasked', our monthly mix series promoting Berlin-based DJs, we have Va-Zi.

Va-Zi is a multinational artist, half-French half-German, he grew up in Austria, organised club events in Vienna, Barcelona and Helsinki and performed in Austria, Spain, France, Czech Republic, and Finland. Having moved to Berlin last year, he hopes to contribute a fresh new edge to the local scene thanks to his eight years of mixing. Mostly playing neurofunk, experimental tunes and his own productions, he evolves in a high energy niche with a style composed of quick slices, unusual transitions and double drops.

We first heard of Va-Zi via an incredible liquid drum and bass mix he delivered on DnB Meeting Point. Which still remains one of our favourite liquid DnB mixes out there.
