VA Recordings represents the best of the best of Music Production from Hampton Roads, Virginia.  Since 1980, our founder, Lawrence Reed started the Southeastern Virginia urban electronic music movement, before the Realistic Moog, DX7, really since before the Casio MT-40.  He spread the word on the electronic systems to come, and even taught some of the worlds most treasured Hip-Hop producers.  He was taught music publishing by the late Frank Guida (Gary U.S. Bonds), recording by Leon Sylvers and the late Michael Evans (Gap Band),  general music business by Harvey Alston (former manager for Keith Sweat and Teddy Riley), and vocal arrangement and styling by the late Omar Chandler (Rob Base "Joy and Pain".  VA Recordings is poised to take it's place among the Independent record labels and earn it's place in the Majors.  The Most Versatile, One Man, One Vision, All Genres.
