The Spy

VAARAPANDIS is a London based atmospheric synth-pop duo formed by Emmi Vaara (Fin) and Adrianos Pandis (Gr) in 2021.

Combining dark 80’s synth and acoustic guitar sounds, along with a non traditional rhythm section consisted mainly of house equipments, they’re telling stories of the subconscious and the mundane. Their debut single, Marcin Nicklewicz, was featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape on BBC 6. 

Newest release, The Spy, is meant to portray an 'afterparty' scene where 86 Sheffield meets a depressing Russian b-side. Crime scene music aesthetics with 80's pop culture references.

The band’s debut EP, 'Kids of Kilburn', is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021.
