Oh jaaa.. wir freuen uns, unseren Freund Maltesoap in unserer Podcast Family zu begrüßen. 
..ob auf verschiedenen Partys und Festivals, bei denen wir ihm über den Weg gelaufen sind, oder beim Songbingo - wir haben etwas für ihn übrig! Danke, dass du dabei bist! <3

Maltesoap, ist ein DJ mit Wohnsitz in Hannover. Malte veranstaltet als Teil des "Rotes Rauschen" Kollektivs diverse und genreübergreifende Veranstaltungen in Niedersachsen und darüber hinaus. Dazu ist er Teil der DJ-Teams "rrräuber&räuskopp" und "DJ Match". Nicht vergessen sei hier die herzlichste Kooperation mit 60 Zoll - "Hits ins Herz". Seine Sounds bewegen sich (wenn nicht gerade als Malte Scheibe progressiven Schlager serviert) zwischen progressiven House, Breaks und dem Versuch immer eine Prise Unerwartbares in seine Mixe mit einfließen zu lassen.

Wir ignorieren heute einfach mal den offensichtlichen Jubiläumsgeburtstag der Flausettte, der 30. hat ja damals schon eine ziemliche Sinnkrise bei ihr ausgelöst, das brauchen wir nicht nochmal. Stattdessen könnten wir einfach darüber reden, wie Trancemusik entstanden ist und weil die wahre Geschichte ein bisschen zu langweilig ist, interpretieren wir das Ganze natürlich ein bisschen um.
Wie ausgefuchste Vogelexpert*innen wissen, können australische Leierschwänze besonders gut Geräusche nachmachen. Außerdem sind sie bekannt dafür, dass sie sich einmal im Jahr zu einer kollektiven spirituellen Reise auf den Berg Uluru begeben um sich dort mit ihren Vorfahren zu connecten und ne gute Zeit zu haben. Eines Jahres begab es sich, dass eine besonders neugierige Leierschwänzin von Hunger geplangt an einem bunten Kaktus naschte. Ziemlich crazy von ihr, weil Leierschwänz*innen normalerweise nur Insekten und Würmer essen und vielleicht ab und zu mal ne Schnecke wenn sie richtig Hunger haben. Naja, wie dem auch sei, auf jeden Fall fiel sie daraufhin in einen tranceähnlichen Schlaf und konnte nachdem sie wieder aufgewacht war den ersten Trancetrack trillern, inklusive Kickdrum, sphärischen Synthezizerklängen, atmosphärischem Gesang  und eingängigem Voice Sample. Die anderen Leierschwänze waren natürlich begeistert und so verbreitete sich das Lied recht schnell unter den gesangsbegabten Vögeln. So war es natürlich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis zwei Italiener auf ihrer Australienreise einen der Vögel fingen, den Song schamlos kopierten und ihn unter eigenem Namen veröffentlichten. Besoders kreativ waren sie bei der Namensgebung nicht und nannten ihn in Anlehnung an ihren Künstlerduonamen einfach "The Age Of Love". Auch wenn die Ursprünge von Trance somit natürlich etwas kritisch zu betrachten sind, freuen wir uns trotzdem, dass es ihn gibt, weil sonst hätte uns die tolle @d_jil heute nicht so ein tolles Set aufnehmen können. Das ist nämlich vollgepackt mit ganz viel davon und deswegen sehr schön anzuhören. Wer sich das mal live anhören will, geht am Besten mal zu einer der fetten @partyserviceberlin Parties, die D-JIL regelmäßig mit ein paar Friends veranstaltet, können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Das trancige Flausettendesign hat sie übrigens auch selber gestaltet, finden wir sehr knorke. <3

Elea Eluanda | MiDi | 06.12.23 @ Groove Station Dresden

From groovy to speedy – that’s s-ray’s motto. Based in Leipzig, her DJ ego serves two different styles which mutually inspire each other: groovy House and housy Trance. s-ray is mainly known for the latter, where she combines styles such as Powerhouse, Hardgroove, Trance and Progressive. That sound is all about high energy, happy vibes and a pinch of pop. Moreover with her passion for groovy House tunes she likes to combine different bouncy, energetic genres, like Deep, Progressive and Tech House with a certain 90’s touch. No matter if House or Trance, s-ray stays true to her motto and gets your feet bouncing!

With her mix for Metro s-ray tried something a little different to her usual sound. The mix is a progressive journey through house and trance, inspired from a small clubbing break. The bouncy and somewhat trippy vibe leaves you excited for a sweaty club night!

Bibi D’ragotino, originates from Hamburg but lives in Berlin. Back in Hamburg, her involvement in hosting parties started, which she could extend to Berlin, where she is involved with the party collective Partyservice. Bibi is also hosting a small festival in northern Germany, where she started playing music herself. Ever since, she has been performing regularly and tries to always enhance her style. For Bibi, ongoing development is most important, but therefore her style cannot easily be described. But one thing is for sure: You will find strong breaks and genre bending and some breaches of style. Teleport Festival, Ackermassaker (Festival), Beate Uwe (Club, Berlin), and Slot (Club, Hamburg) are just a few venues where she could already be seen behind decks.

Josiane (@josi_ane) is a Congolese born and in Germany raised Designer, Creative and DJ based in Berlin that started her journey DJing in 2022. She is the co-founder of What a Playground, a collective with Lena Brecht, they host a regular radio show at @refugeworldwide and curate events. Additionally, Josiane hosts a bi-monthly podcast titled “Private Paradise” on @komrad.net_.

With this mix “a set ready for the rave”, she has stepped out of her comfort zone and put together a journey of sounds through the various electronic genres that she loves.

truuufaith doesn’t like classic genre categorisations. Lost with chart music in the german countryside, truuufaith decided to counter this musical sadness. In this solo project, truuufaith is interested in unique and special sounds that come together with eclectic and groovy beats to create a mixture of experimental techno, breakbeat, electro and a pinch of house music without sounding too detached or arty.

For several years truuufaith has been working for various international music and theater projects, organizes own series and festivals such as Suprafluid Festival and is part of Rotes Rauschen, Hits ins Herz and 1/3 of rrräuber&räuskopp.
