Another year has gone by in the blink of an eye and we couldn't be more grateful for all your support, amazing contributions to our podcast series and for the incredibe releases of befriended artists! In order to wrap this year's podcast series up in style, we invited a true gem of Germany's electronic music scene to take over December's episode and provide you with fresh energy to slide into the new year: Sarah Wild.

Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer talent from Berlin. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on Permanent Vacations, Feines Tier and her own label Midnight Operators.

When she was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is also a singing teacher. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time. Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first little projects as an artist. Sarah Wild started her solo project in 2016 and has been touring in Europe, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and the USA.

We say thank you to Sarah for this awesome podcast and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. With excitement, we are looking forward to 2024, which will mark the 5th anniversary of our label.

Dunkle Jahreszeit, schweres Gemüt, schwere Weltlage. Auf der mühsamen Suche nach etwas Positivem oder ein Quäntchen Freude, versinkt man in diesen Zeiten doch so oft in Lethargie. Der Gefühlscocktail aus Melancholie und der Hoffnung auf bessere Zeiten spiegelt sich auch in dem Listening-Set von Chamaelo wider. Er lädt ein, in etwas Schwermut zu verweilen und in all der Schwere den Blick für Hoffnung dabei nicht zu schnell zu verlieren.

My Avira Antivir for Windows Vista showed some dangerous activity on some SD card I had lying around since summer 2023. Whoopsie doesn't everyone forget about their recording of their Vacanza Floor Closing of Tarmac 2023 once in a while?

@ciao3lla and me cooked up a scandalous combination of <5000 plays progressive house, electro rollers, italo bangers and phone samples to pay our respects to this great slot.

Today's mix comes from Theresa aka Burninski aka DJ Freshi aka Bass-Bounce Burninski.
Hailing from Erfurt, she started DJing in 2018 with a sound she describes as bassy, bouncy and influenced by the 90s.

That night two dreams came true for me: not only did I get to play at @kater_blau with my best friends dancing in the crowd, but I also had the honor of opening for @rss disco, the 3 unicorns at the end of the rainbow 🌈✨🦄.

The collective energy made the night truly unforgettable — I can still see us all smiling and dancing with our arms in the air and around each other.
