A key figure of the southern French scene, @lucaruiz seamlessly juggles multiple roles.

Event organizer and respected DJ, he’s also the mastermind behind the Magie Noire events and label. His DJ style quickly stood out: groovy, raw, hypnotic, and timeless — rooted in Chicago’s warehouse legacy and Detroit’s avant-garde spirit.

Magie Noire marked the next step. Launched in the early 2010s, the concept blended visual arts and cutting-edge electronic music, gaining serious traction in top venues across Paris and the South of France. In 2023, he launched his own label, Magie Noire Music, bridging new talents with established remixers from the electronic scene.
