此次他選曲致敬香港的泛民派地下電台音樂節目，拼貼 70、80 年代復古舞曲，尤其 Disco、Italo 這些更能呼喊自由的音樂類型。成長於 90 年代的他，一路從 Hip-Hop、R&B 聽到搖滾與爵士、實驗音樂，翻遍迷幻放克迪斯可，後來越鑽越偏卻也兜回了國語金曲。

到德國萊比錫念書時，他開始去了廢墟和森林的地下及類倉庫聚會，在柏林的俱樂部與酷兒派對學到如何維持與營造空間的能量與氛圍；如今自己放歌想要沒規沒則，從駁雜的聆樂經驗中拾撿，並串接起耳熟或陌生的舞場歡愉。

Having served up some of the finest techno slabs of the past decade through the likes of Sandwell District, Stroboscopic Artefacts and now their own dedicated imprint, Eaux, Rrose steps in the series with a bonkers mix of dusty techno hustle-and-bustle, neatly alternating sequences of pumping 4x4 aerobatics, searing, noise-adjacent outbursts and eerie melodies to hypnotic effect. Hello, I’m Kasra. He/him. I’m writing to you from London.

Describe your gear set up in full detail?

At home I have Korg m1, Emu orbit, Xoxbox 303 clone,Tascam portastudio (I also use it to sample tapes), a microphone and some pedals.

Sometimes I take finished songs to a studio I use and run midi through Prophet 7 and Moog voyager to add some movements and layers and replace some of the drums with 808 or 909 if needed.

What would you like to see in the future for the dance community? 

A phone-ban on all dancefloors please.
