I year ago I picked up my first electric guitar and after a bit of work here's my anniversary rendition of Marshall Tucker's Can't You See.

Cascade Live

Once I discovered the pipe organ in the conservatory of music at Capital University I was hooked. Not that I ever was really able to play it but the simplest of chord sequences sounded sublime with the pipes all opened to full in that auditorium. One day I discovered that there were steam tunnels connecting the buildings on the campus and so I began to sneak into the conservatory to play the organ in the deep of the night; the throbbing waves of music pulsing throughout the dimly lit hall. Eventually the flashlights of the night watchmen would begin shining through the windows and I would slip back out through steam tunnels into the night; the dewy mists of dawn just beginning to gather under the radiant Milky Way.

Ambient Steel

The circumflex (Ancient Greek: περισπωμένη perispōménē "twisted around") – ᾶ — marked high and falling pitch within one syllable. In distinction to the angled Latin circumflex, the Greek circumflex is printed in the form of either a tilde or an inverted breve. It was also known as ὀξύβαρυς oxýbarys "high-low" or "acute-grave", and its original form (like a caret: ^ ) was from a combining of the acute and grave diacritics. Because of its compound nature, it only appeared on long vowels or diphthongs.
