Stephan Bodzin: a classically trained musician, vastly experienced producer and master of melody. He has built a reputation through countless releases under many aliases, and through his dramatic and dynamic live set capturing the hearts of fans worldwide. For Afterlife, Bodzin bottles the infectious energy of these shows into two epic, colourful landscapes of sound, “Strand” and “Catamaran”.

The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. Opener DTW 2 LAX V1 pairs a pitching sequence with dry drums and the careful arrangement of a pro. On the follow up, DTW 2 LAX V2 - Flores swaps out the immediacy of the 909 for a deeper 808 drum kit without any compromise on energy. On the flip The Dawn riffs on Hood-esque polyrhythms with frenetic, driven drum arrangement before closer Minimize offers a moment of psychedelic, heads-down introspection.

I'm a music curator, a designer and a creator with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, i gather and hunt electronic and dark melodic techno gems but every now and then i might deliver or collaborate in a mix that could save someone's life one day.

I decided to approach playlist creation in a similar way as I would in one of my motion and graphic designs or the way i would in optimizing an automotive engine. These playslists and mixes you are finding in my timeline are the background score of my life, and the ending credits as well, each playlist, born and survived a whole semester or two, so before entering, know well that these are the holy lands that survived the martyrdom, blood, sweat and the endless sleepless nights with me.
