All the sounds were recorded in Prague with parts of the voiceover re-edited and remastered in the United States.

In 1975 a spiritual movement was spreading throughout the nation. Led by Reverend Sun Myung Moon, who claimed that he was the messiah for all mankind, this new movement called the Unification Church was meant to unify all religions under one family under god. “The Moonies” as they were most commonly known, became infamous for their mass weddings where thousands of followers were married to complete strangers.  Holly Thompson is a second generation Moonie, who spoke to her mother about the changes concerning the church.

Taylor Haney spent a year in India studying music, where he learned to play the Tibetan Lute or Dranyen: a guitar-like instrument with three sets of two strings. The Dranyen is taught to Tibetan youth and is cherished as a storytelling device for popular folklore. Now, here in Los Angeles, when Taylor plays, he is reminded of the majestic Himalayan Mountains and friends he left behind.

Just a down earth guy that knows how to work hard while not taking life too seriously. I am a recent graduate of NYU, but originally grew up in Maryland 30 minutes south of Baltimore.  I love listening to the radio.  I think sound is the most captivating element to life.  But most importantly I think radio has the most chill, down to earth people you will ever meet. I have interned at several radio stations/companies including: WOR Radio, Sirius XM, and ABC News Radio.  One day I hope to be in front of the mic hosting my own show.  But for right now, I’m enjoying my time as an associate producer for USC’s Annenberg Radio news; rocking the soundboards, cutting down the show, and doing some reporting on the side.  Oh and in my free time I get some exercise by playing the coolest sport around, ultimate frisbee.
