A lot of people ask us this question. We don’t have a good answer, to be honest. We know what it’s not: The sound of Vague Terrain is not the same music you hear at every other club every other weekend.

VT resident @c_z-1 opened our April party, featuring M.E.S.H. and Austin Cesear, with a 2.5 hour set that runs the gamut: coolly reduced ambient moods, undulating polyrhythms, British bass music, and extraterrestrial electro. Oh, and The The.
