A seemingly relentless flow of creative activity continues for Yousef in 2013.

An endless global touring schedule, showing the world his authentic, and live 3 deck Djing dexterity, a man at ease in front on 10000 people, as he is 100. Ibiza to Indonesia, Argentina to America, South Africa to South Korea, few corners have been untouched this in 2013.

As well as new music on forthcoming Loco Dice's impressive Desolat imprint, this year Yousef has released music on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Defected, remixing Carl Cox, and gravitating his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing this years biggest underground track, Green Velvets "Bigger Than Prince".

Yousef’s collaboration with The Angel, the anthemic "Float Away" released on FFRR/Warners/Big Beat Records was this summers Ibiza hidden treasure and is still simmering

3 Yousef singles for Defected appeared in the last year, “Think Twice”, "I See" (ADE week Buzz Chart #1) and of course “Beg” which sat at the top of the Beatport charts for 10 weeks.

His record label Circus Recordings continues to spread its message of the best in underground house and techno at an alarming rate, signing heroes like Reboot, Carl Cox, Green Velvet and re surfacing the super talented Harry Romero, as well as developing fresh names like Acid Mondays, David Glass and Horatio, building a strong platform for Yousef’s own music.

Here Yousef’s is back on the dance floor with 3 cuts that have been turning heads all summer long.

'Believe in Love' features the legendary vocal of Roy Davis Jr who once again, asks the world a poignant question. A rolling, infectious and gnarly groove develops and unfolds into a long and harmonic breakdown, and then of course a blistering crescendo. Designed to be for the heads but still enough action for the people that follow Yousef’s more musically trickier offerings.

'Just a Beat' in exactly that. Yousef busts out a stripped back boogie bass over tight drums and oddball acid. No messing around, heads down, hands up.

'What is Revolution' is taken within an inch of its life by Circus label mates Acid Mondays. Remixing one of the stand out cuts from Yousef’s recent “a product of your environment’ artist album, the Mondays show how to bring authentic house music into the 21st century.

With most DJ’s barely getting their teeth in to 2014 yet, Rotterdam based composer and producer Eelke Kleijn is already back teasing more huge tracks. Set for release on Feb. 24 on Eskimo Recordings are two brand new originals. ‘Lovely Sweet Divine’ is a slice of space disco heaven. This otherworldly tune is drenched in expansive reverb, disco rhythms and infectious arpeggiated basslines.

Typically brooding with an uplifting inflection, 'A Tale Of Two Lovers' is Eelke at the top of his game – only what we have come to expect from recent months. Combining fluid violins, hang drums and his typical bass rumble it’s a track from someone so adept at production they have the confidence and freedom to play around with styles in the 7-minute runtime.

Alongside Global Underground’s TWENTY (20 Year Anniversary), GUMUSIC celebrates its 100th single release on 20th October with the re-release of a GU classic Roland Klinkenberg Feat DJ Remy ‘Mexico Can Wait’, with a slew of remixes from Gabriel Ananda, Matthew Jonson and more.
 
Some of the remixers are winners from a remix competition we ran earlier in the year, the standards were very high with some big emerging talent entering. Winner Francesco Pico turned in a hypnotic chilled version that set it apart, with Jaap Ligthart, Mateo Murphy, Robert R. Hardy and Pano Manara creating some amazing versions of their own.

Our crew at the Upon.You Records offices is keeping the release schedule busy these days, constantly scanning the scene for new and upcoming talent and keen to pick an exquisite selection of club tracks for the labels catalogue. Therefore we're glad to announce the arrival of Innellea, a highly talented production team from Munich which has been leaving some marks on the scene with their 2016 singles on Musica Autonomica and Underyourskin Records.Lillith, the first track on this three track single, is on a quite groove tip, presenting a hot, stripped down take on TechHouse as a solid foundation for intricate melodic structures which are ever building up until a warm and welcoming vintage synth motif caters heaps of bass for bubbling crowds.With the title track Apate the Munich-based duo brings in more decent tropical heat for heaving dancefloors which are getting an extra thrill from ever background percussions with a slightly latin-influenced twist, a distinct, repetetive motif, a super dense athmosphere and a sexy as fuck lead organ catering the ultimate, hormone-driven swing to set every club on fire. Finally Imignie weighs in a slightly more futuristic flavour, combining super dry bassdrums and micro sweeps in its intro sequence, later accompanied by a overwhelmingly climactive bass drone and spiralling synths sharing space with mystic atmospheres, all together taking us and the ravers on the floor to new, unexplored realms of out consciousness.

‘Days Gone’ is the highly-anticipated return of core Afterlife act and fans favourite, Mind Against. A year after their ‘Solaris’ EP (AL002), the duo of Alex and Federico Fognini show once again why their moving, supremely-produced tracks are held in such esteem.

The title track takes you to another dimension, with a synth line spiralling into cosmic space and drums beating into oblivion. ‘Cloud Nine’, a classy, comparatively-understated cut for the early hours brings the energy back down. Stepping up to remix ‘Cloud Nine’ is Dystopian talent Alex.Do, who strips the sound back and distills the original’s graceful flourishes, completing a high-quality chapter in the Afterlife story.

Carefully saved within biological circuits that are activated by networks of nerve cells humans gain access to their memory, and therewith to their past, to their knowledge, to colored images of close people, to their lives. Serbian producer Coeus actived his memory of a 'Forgotten Love' for the first release of shortly founded Parisian label Mimesis. The three tracker, consisting of the EP's name giving track 'Forgotten Love', 'Atlantis' and 'Gravity', depicts hidden feelings in space at a musical level. 'Forgotten Love' overwhelms its listeners with a dark fundamental tone that's not taking the track's lead but is certainly responsible for the undertone. The latter is worked out by the synth-chords that deliver a memorable melody that can easily be recalled as its saved within short time in the back of our heads, in our memory, so it is not forgotten but present.

Coeus' EP 'Forgotten Love' will be released February 19th, 2019 on Mimesis.

Anjunadeep warmly welcomes renowned Spanish producer and label owner Edu Imbernon for his debut Anjunadeep release ‘S.Y.L.’.

An influential figure in the European house and techno scene over the past decade, Edu has topped the Beatport charts and won consistent support from the likes of Pete Tong, Maceo Plex, Sasha and Seth Troxler. Tim Engelhardt returns to Poker Flat Recordings to build on his already impressive reputation. Engelhardt, one of Cologne’s youngest and brightest electronic music stars on the rise is responsible for numerous dancefloor bombs over the last years.

'First Contact' combines beautiful synth lines with a shuffling, infectious groove and a maturity way beyond his years. In addition to the Original Version, Engelhardt provides another highly sensitive interpretation with the magic ´Beatless Tool´.

'Light The Fire' incorporates magical melodic chimes reminiscent of Four Tet or Floating Points, with a thick sub bass and Detroit style pads that add up to a highly affecting track - a real triumph.

The last release of an unprecedented year for all of us combines an array of tracks we were playing mostly before the pandemic started. As many of you know, Siamese has a diverse catalogue of music that is constantly redrawing boundaries. This release consists of tracks that get played in the more melodic part of our sets. In times like these PR texts don’t seem very important to us so we just wanna leave you with one sentence for each track and let the music speak for itself.

Yotto – Observer

This might be the track of the pack which is in our library the longest. Yotto is known for his work all around the world, although we are sure ‘Observer’ will still gain him even more listeners. Some wonderful memories were made to this song. 

Evans – Endless

We were always in contact with Evans and were sure a future release will be happening on Siamese eventually. Now almost over a year later we were finally putting this into effect. ‘Endless’ combines a lot of things we love, a great build up, steady groove, a melodic touch and a lot of energy. 

Marino Canal – Radiance

This man needs no introduction to the Siamese universe. ‘Radiance’, probably a little more laid back than his previous productions, is a perfect fit for this compilation. Hypnotic & ethereal, that’s how to describe Marino Canal’s music. 

Remcord – FMCD

After receiving this track, considering it a promo and playing it on the Nordstern rooftop whilst the sun was going down, we had to get back to Remcord to ask if this was indeed a promo or a demo. Gladly it’s been a demo. 

Alfredo Mazzilli – Eternal Memories

We are big fans of Alfredo for quite some time now and happy we’re finally able to feature him on Siamese. When preparing for Tomorrowland’s Around The World, we needed to showcase our diversity in a 60min set. What we were missing was a faster techno-ish sounding track with this big stage energy. Et voilà, ‘Eternal Memories’ filled this gap perfectly. 

ENØS – Morpheus

Two young swiss producers who are on our radar since they approached us with their music some time ago. Morpheus is straight and dubby with no compromises. A mainstay in our sets since a very long time. 

Losless – Dark Light

Also a on our hard-drive for a long time, ‘Dark Light’ created some wonderful moments on dancefloors around the world. We are very happy for the young producer that his track finally comes into light. 

In Anima – My Moon

‘My Moon’ closes this compilation perfectly. With the long build up, the catchy melody puts you in a state of trance. Moody, melodic but still techno.
