Twas August 7, 1996 4am Saturday after a Friday night set. I walked out of the club. i hailed a cab. I was about to step inside of it. i stopped and looked up at the sky. It had a beautiful hue. Blue, orange and purple. My eyes were drawn to the colors as the streaked in and out of the Bldgs, up the blvd. Mesmerizing, to the effect where i questioned my own existence. I gestured to the cab driver to leave. Instead, i decided to walk home.
