After years of residencies and passionate mix curation, now we can support our artist friends through our label too!  Known for our podcasts in many countries: 'This is How We Do It' the original name for this mix, has a couple of thousand plays and much love.

今回mixお願いするにあたって、知り合った期間も短かった事もあり、彼のことをもっと知りたく、stefanino paninoのパニーニを頬張りながら音楽の話を沢山できたり、彼が働いているレコード屋に足を運んだこともいい思い出です。
ブギー、ソウル、ジャズ、ヒップホップからハウスと多岐にわたって現場や相手を想って選曲されるsetは彼の優しさそのもの。彼の優しさがそのまま映し出され、丁寧に紡ぐmixが心地よく、どこへでも連れて行きたくなる旅のお供になるようなmixをいただきました！

Since we haven’t known each other for long, I wanted to learn more about him. One of my fond memories is talking a lot about music while enjoying a panini from Stefanino Panino. Visiting the record store where he works is also one of my cherished memories.The set, which spans various genres from boogie, soul, jazz, and hip-hop to house and more, is curated with consideration for the venue and the audience, reflecting his kindness perfectly.
His kindness is reflected throughout, and the carefully crafted mix is pleasant, making it the perfect companion for a journey that you want to take anywhere.

始まりと終わりは、いつも間のパートより先に来るように感じます。リスナーが入り口と出口で似た感覚を持つような、そんな「本の栞」を探している感じです。リズムが変わる余白を持たせることも、私にとってはいつも大事です。少しブロークンなパーカッションやダブに影響を受けた曲も交え、ここには、雨の日でも晴れの日でも聴けるような、昨年拾い集めたいつも心に残る音たちが詰まっています。

I find that the beginning and end usually comes before the in between, searching for the bookends that hopefully evoke similar feelings for the listener on the way in and on the way out. It’s always been important to allow some space for rhythms to change. Leaning into some broken percussion and dubbed out numbers, this is a collection of tunes I’ve picked up over the last year that I always go back to, soundtracks for anytime whether rain or shine.

Musical interests sparked early for Dem Large, surrounded by an eclectic mix of sounds filtered through his family’s record collections. Mixtapes filled with elements of soul, jazz and hip hop formed a solid foundation.
Many years behind the counter at Melbourne’s Wax Museum Records shaped his selections. Moving through a range of varied styles, from the deep down to the soulful and percussive.

"Can you play something chill while I'm making dinner?"

Part two of RA.999: two NYC Downlow favourites go back-to-back for the first time with a jubilant homage to classic house.

The RA Podcast launched 19 years ago in 2006, making it one of the world's longest-running online mix series. As we gear up to celebrate the 1,000th episode, RA.999 lands with five mixes across five days with a cohort of artists who've left a singular mark on electronic music over the past few decades. The chemistry and legacy of these duos make for something very special—and worthy of such a huge milestone.

First up was 1morning and Regal86 with a live recording from New York's Bossa Nova. Next up? We move to NYC Downlow, and who better to capture Glastonbury's beloved queer utopia than Prosumer and Peach, going back-to-back for the first time.

If house is your thing, then Prosumer and Peach going one-for-one on the decks is nothing short of a treat. With Glastonbury still just about in the rearview mirror, this mix captures the spirit of NYC Downlow. If you're familiar, you'll know this means steamy euphoria all-night long, sweat dripping from the ceiling and an intoxicating feeling in the humid air.

And Prosumer is a true Downlow darling—a treasured custodian and storyteller of dance music who delivered his first RA Podcast way back in 2007. "If a record doesn't move me emotionally or physically, I won't play it out," he said at the time, befitting of the impeccable curation and irresistible body groove that became his trademarks. He is, in the words of the Johnny Dangerous track in the mix, the "King of Clubs."

For Peach, RA.999 marks a full-circle moment: Prosumer's 2019 closing set in the Downlow is one of her all-time Glastonbury memories. Since her first RA Podcast in 2021, the London-based artist has only grown more in-demand, with sets that typically traverse the house and techno lexicon—and occasionally R&B—with a distinctly peppy energy. "Neither of us are afraid to go deep," she said about playing with Prosumer. "We just had fun with it."
