"Born out of the desire to create a more inclusive and welcoming scene, the APPLAUSE parties, founded in 2023 by Matteo, have now given rise to a music label. This label, designed for enthusiasts of club-oriented sounds, will release its first compilation on June 21.
This compilation brings together 12 producers who, in Matteo's eyes, embody the present and future of the contemporary club scene. Among them are Hey Bony, Maxye, and Lorkestra, who have already been featured in the Applause party line-ups. "All the people invited to this compilation are genuine artistic encounters, particularly through previous editions of Applause," explains Matteo.
With influences ranging from Afro-Caribbean to techno, the
compilation highlights the diversity of musical genres dear to the DJ-producer. "The styles represented are connected to the energy I like to promote during parties, with sound aesthetics that I seek to
explore," he concludes."
