A House Is Not a Home

A hurricane had hit where I lived the week I was recording my CD and this song was very tough for me to sing because I had that "survivor guilt" ... because so many had lost so much and there I was singing and playing music instead of helping. As soon as I returned to SW FL, I decided to turn my scheduled CD concert into a fundraiser and with the help of my producer, Edward Loder, I raised nearly $10,000 for local Hurricane Charley victims in Southwest Florida by putting on a very low cost ticket ($7) with 100% of my cd proceeds as well going to the victims. It was an awesome event and proved to me, once again, how music can heal and help those around you at the worst of times.
