Coming from the scene of Bristol, Ibiza and London he felt Amsterdam as the place to be and grow musically and mentally.

He likes to transform darkness into light, blending  it’s dark atmosphere always bringing high energy, groove and industrial sounds creating a “full of energy” techno to listen at.

For the 10th edition of Xplore, I had the honour to invite a legend and icon of the techno scene who helped define the sound of rave music in the early 90s. 

C.J. Bolland is a British/Belgian electronic music producer and DJ who helped define the sound of rave music in the early 1990s. Bolland has released numerous albums and EPs and performed at some of the biggest electronic music festivals around the world. With his innovative sound and technical prowess, Bolland remains a highly respected figure in the dance music scene, and continues to influence future generations of producers and DJs.

And if it wasn’t classical music, it would be her mom’s varied taste of music that would play on repeat depending on the day. Fela Kuti, The Doors, Sade, Enya, a Miles Davies best of, or Jean-Michel Jarre to name a few, it is no surprise genre blending comes naturally in GRMCK’s mixes. Focusing primarily on the faster and heavier side of techno, GRMCK invites you to surrender to the relentless beats and immerse yourself in a musical journey full of unexpected turns and surprises. A lover of all things creative, Gloria-Rose is also an award-winning freelance footwear designer, using her love for music to influence her practice.

ValaV (he,they), Dj/Producer born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, stands out with his eclectic Psygroove. Co-founder of the YO·YO a queer collective advocating for equality and diversity in the electronic scene.
ValaV has performed at festivals like Hivernacle and Brunch Electronik, as well as renowned clubs such as Kitkat, Razzmatazz, Moog, Apolo, and Florida 135, sharing the stage with prominent figures like Alarico, Richie Hawtin, Daria Kolosova, Patrick Mason.
