It's 5:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, October 27, 2023, the first Hivernacle event at Parc del Forum. ValaV and Rexer, Co-Founders of the queer collective @Yo.yo.bcn, kick off a session that will be remembered by many for a long time.

The main stage is surrounded by the audience, and there's an air of joy. The energy begins to rise as the evening hours approach. The anticipation for the set these artists deliver when they're together on stage multiplies minute by minute. The atmosphere will be unforgettable.

Undoubtedly a dynamic figure in the world of electronic music, Truant frequently flits between both club and festival line-ups in his native Poland. A journey that began in 2014 has taken him through the genre spectrum, oscillating between 00s old Techno all the way up to Drum and Bass. 

Nowadays, he feels at his most comfortable nestled in his signature driving Techno style, that introduces industrial elements and fast hi-hats to achieve his sound as we will all hear in this new DETECT exclusively recorded for us.

From Berlin via Vienna to London, Paris and Madrid – for fans of Hardgroove all over Europe, there is no way around Caniche. Oscillating between tooly, rough and funky, her sets are packed with Rap-reminiscing vocals and Tribal elements – while old school percussions build the rhythmic foundation.

Caniche’s signature sound is also reflected in her productions. With a highly energetic track on Twice Infinity's sub label Groovecore United, an upcoming VA contribution on Numerus records and her debut EP scheduled for 2024, she already has a solid list of releases under her belt. And there is yet more to come.

Hitting the decks at clubs like Tresor, OXI or ÆDEN, Caniche is a regular in Berlin’s most renowned booths. What’s more, her sound and spirit have long gained popularity outside of the German capital, bringing her into exceptional clubs such as Vienna’s Grelle Forelle, London’s Corsica Studios, Munich’s Rote Sonne, and soon also IFZ in Leipzig as well as Tresor West in Dortmund. No wonder – as she simply knows how to properly heat up a floor with her distinct flair for the right groove.

Co-running PUSH Network, Caniche is one of three local residents, hosting the New Faces series at Tresor. Besides their residency at the legendary Berlin club, PUSH also hosts workshops and reoccurring events in Berlin and Vienna. The network fights for more visibility and equal treatment of FLINTA artists in the electronic music scene. Connecting people across Europe, PUSH aims to be a source of support, inspiration and new approaches in the industry.

The first FrenzyPodcast will be provided by two brothers from Munich that go by the name of Glaskin. Specialising in their own distinctive take on music, the duo are currently residents at the renowned Blitz Music Club of the same city. Showcasing a high energy sound, combining the past with the present, have led them to releasing on some well-established labels in the scene and having their Berghain-debut last month as part of the Spandau20 label night!

Lacchesi is invited for our 181th podcast. The French dj and producer is known for his fast paced techno sets consisting of jittery melodies and nervy baselines. In his productions, he takes a more diverse approach, releasing music ranging from hard hitting techno tracks to glitchy IDM pieces or soothing ambient soundscapes. His latest EP on his label Maison Close nicely showcases this.

For this podcast, he recorded a mix geared towards fast minimalistic grooves and experimental sounds.
