@charmurr is a rising DJ, producer and the founder of Ceilte from Carlow. Producing music for many years with a focus on more electronic sounds since last summer. His productions fuse trance, house and hardgroove techno. Multiple successful self-released tracks have garnered support from huge international acts such as TRYM and Boys Noize. 

This mix includes an exciting selection of high-energy tracks from the Breakbeat Techno to Speed Garage. Regrettably, it comes to an unexpected conclusion after just under an hour due to a depleted generator.

We premiere a special mix from Belfast heroes Hotline as they provide the 217th Local Selection Mix made up entirely of their own productions. The mix spans house, techno, trance and more, weaving through gritty warehouse cuts alongside sun-kissed festival weapons.

Hotline first drew ravers’ attention with their residency at Shine; it was here that they cut their teeth in Belfast’s dance music scene. Since then, the duo has played at a variety of venues across the country, releasing a plethora of self-released singles that have garnered them cult status and praise from some of the most intriguing names in dance music.

The genre-bending DJs are committed to having fun both behind the booth and within the studio, the pair refuse to commit to genre limitations or put themselves in a box. Their time as residents with Shine has seen them support all manner of DJs and play in a variety of scenarios, whether it’s a heaving basement or warmup slot at The Telegraph, Hotline are committed to letting their intuition lead their selection, which has fed through to their productions.

We host their first 100% original production mix as they contribute to the 217th Local Selection Mix. The mix sees the Belfast duo run through a selection of hard-edged techno weapons as they sprinkle glistening synth lines and cheeky edits across a pummeling backdrop of high-octane peak-time techno. The pair dive into mid 00s eurodance and 90s trance with a fresh twist, as the pairing pay homage to the resurection of trance which has been lighting up dancefloors across Europe. Hotline are putting the euphoria back into Belfasts techno scene, buckle up.

Synth sesh 009 welcomes  - Boy in Nature & Friend of a Friend

Perth-based producer/DJ - Boy in Nature embodies the driven naivety needed in electronic music - both with an experimentation in sound, and for creating contagious DJ sets that connect with the largest rooms. 

Blending elements from prog, techno, ukg and hardgroove in both his productions and dj sets, and drawing on inspiration from being immersed in the club scene. Notably, Boy in nature has recently displayed his talent on shows like area3000 and sound gallery aswell as supporting talented artists such as X Club, Club Angel, Mark Blair, harrisonbdp, Conducta, Mele & more.

Hailing from Perlin (Perth/Boorloo), Friend of a Friend first appeared on the scene at renegade raves in Canberras underground scene, before seeing himself on stage supporting the likes of Partiboi69, Jensen Interceptor, Juicy Romance and more in the early days of his musical career. 

Since then FOAF has headlined across Australia, billed alongside artists such as moktar and SWIM, and supporting some of the biggest names in the industry such as Lucas Boston, Ewan McVicar, Paris, CRUSH3D, Mallgrab, Skin on Skin, Yung Singh and more. 

His electric and eclectic sets have garnered a cult following alongside his romantic yet hard hitting productions. With multiple interstate and international headlining dates lined up over the summer, Friend of a Friend is on the rise as a staple across not only Boorloo dance floors but across the country
