Українські лейбли, якто Artreform, Crocus та High-Jack релізили неймовірні «киплячі» треки Миколи, що перебувають у стані постійного руху і тим самим оживляють навіть зомбі на танцполі. А релізів автор має не мало: я нарахував з десяток вінілів, тож його продуктивності варто позаздрити. Увага! Під час прослухавування Raru мозок вивільняє ендорфіни занадто ритмічно, що призводить до візуальних образів, які можна описати роботами київських авторів стріт-арту interesni kazki. Мікс записаний вийнятково з треків Raru. Приємного прослуховування.

Raru is a faithful warrior of minimalist house music, especially its dark side. Ukrainian labels such as Artreform, Crocus and High-Jack have released incredible «boiling» tracks by Mykola, which are in a state of constant motion and thus revive even the zombies on the dance floor. Author has a lot of releases: I counted a dozen vinyls. Warning! Double Sound² presents the 12th podcast from the Moscow-based techno duo Poima. The duo consists of two producers: Alexander Lestyukhin and Semen Caspian Kid. Poima's distinctive feature is their live acts using analog synths.

2014 marked the starting point for Poima. They played their first live acts at Moscow clubs Solyanka and Arma17. This was followed by performances at Outline, as well as at the Superslet festival during the season closing of the Street Art Museum in Saint Petersburg. As a result, Poima was invited to perform at Boiler Room Moscow (http://boilerroom.tv/recording/poima/).

Poima's music is analog techno, characterized by the frequent repetition of structural elements, the use of synths, improvisation during live acts, and originality in their creations. Poima has managed to bring new ideas to techno music. Without a doubt, techno is being reborn in Russia, and Poima is a vivid example of this.

Valeri Cassi | Dock Party 05/07 Lisbon

After only three EPs since 2016, Borusiade aka Miruna Boruzescu has proved herself to have a very specific and focussed musical aesthetic. It is a dark, shadowy style of synth laden and stripped back disco that is tinged with echoes of industrial, acid and EBM. Correspondant, Cómeme and Cititrax have put out her music, and her perfectly gloomy sound translates to her DJ mixes. She first started playing 15 years ago as one of the few women on the Bucharest scene, and as such knows how to tell an emotive story—no doubt in part thanks to her love of cinema as well as classical music. 

Her Dekmantel mix is an hour of stark post-industrial sound, desolate landscaping and noir disco techno. From rugged, rattling tracks that sound like a factory in meltdown to more deep and subliminal marching tunes that convey no human life at all, it is a mix that is always on the move, slowly but surely. Ending in a place of angst and paranoia, it’s the sound of a DJ at the top of her game.
