EUPHORIA SET

ATAVEM lives in Hamburg but got his roots from Ashford, southwest England.

His love for electronic music started years before he mixed his first record. As a guitarist and drummer in different dark-wave, death-metal and hardcore punk bands, he grew up with music from “The Cure” and “The Doors”. He got his first contact with electronic music in 2005 with Aphex Twin ( AFX – Analord 05 ).
While discovering Berlin’s, Amsterdam’s and Hamburg’s modern and alternative club scenes, he developed his taste through the influence from experimental electronic music and techno artists, such as Boards of Canada, Alva Noto, Oscar Mulero, COIL, Regis and many more.

ATAVEM'S DJ sets are energetic, hypnotic and paired with fast rhythms.
In addition, he weaves an arsenal of self-produced ambient and drone sounds, which give his sets a unique character.
So far he could prove his artistic range with productions on Front Left Records and [PAL]'s own label LAP.

ATAVEM holds a residency at [PAL] in Hamburg and is the Founder of ESSENCE, an event-series at [PAL].

Romania’s Bross drops a Bandcamp exclusive in the shape of the deeply melodic and reflective house cut No More Games. Bross is one of the most vital electronic artists from the vibrant Romanian music scene. Scoring Beatport No.1’s with La Caminita on All Day I Dream and Trubadour on Amunanga, he established himself with deep, organic, melodic releases, before switching his sound up to become more house-focussed at the start of 2022. Co-founder of the Deep House Burcharest community and an in-demand touring DJ, Bross lives and breathes house music like few others.
No More Games see Bross is reflective mood as he continues to explore the deeper shades of house music. Released exclusivity on Bandcamp, No More Games is patient and deeply atmospheric, with delicate melodies intertwined with choral layers, hushed drums and spacious synth lines, resulting in an affecting and poignant early-hours cut. 2022 and beyond sees Bross looking to establish his own digital and vinyl label Troubadour, and to further cement the new development of his housier sound with his upcoming releases.

REC007 es un live session grabado en un Yate en el Caribe, donde, pude contemplar la mezcla de colores del Sol, las nubes y el mar ... que me inspiraron al ver un hermoso atardecer, el cual logró transmitir mi energía en buena música para que fuera un set inolvidable, que pueda llevarte conmigo a ese día y puedas sentir casi la brisa marina de ese increíble paisaje. Tengo la certeza absoluta de que mi live set te recordará lo hermosa que es la vida.

Este año ha sido uno de los más difíciles en mi carrera como DJ. Muchos proyectos que planeé con mucho esfuerzo se cancelaron, y he tenido que pagar por canciones que otros productores dejaron de lado hace más de un año. Todo esto me ha llevado a enfrentar una depresión fuerte, con deudas que se acumulan y muy poco trabajo estable. También me duele haber decepcionado a amigos que confiaron en mí y pusieron su fe en estos planes.
Quiero que entiendan que cada nueva sesión de música electrónica que comparto sale de un lugar muy personal: es mi manera de desahogarme y seguir adelante. Les pido que la escuchen con atención, que se reconecten conmigo y que valoren el tiempo y el corazón que le pongo a cada pieza.
