Living Conditions in Tenements of Dublin City

This is an audio test piece for inspiration for my project prototype.  It consists of audio from YouTube clips relating to my project theme of telling stories of Old Dublin.

On a sunny Friday evening on the 17th May, 1974 a series of car bombs exploded in Dublin and Monaghan.  It was one of the worst terrorist attacks in ‘The Troubles’ killing 34 men, women, children and one unborn baby, and injuring almost 300 people.  Derek Byrne talks about that day working as a petrol pump attendant aged just 14, being pronounced dead at the scene and waking up in the morgue.  Aidan Shields talks about finding his beloved mother Maureen in Dublin City Morgue after being killed in the Talbot Street blast.
